Amazing breakfast!

Rustic treehouse in a quiet location with the most amazing breakfast and really friendly hosts. Small swimming pool and plenty of outdoor space. Was great for a night or two.

Belle découverte

Magnifique séjour chez un couple charmant. Si vous aimez la nature et les animaux c'est l'endroit parfait. Le petit déjeuner était gargantuesque avec des oeufs frais des poules, yaourts maison, fruits etc il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Beaucoup de randonnées à faire dans les alentours. Je recommande sans hésitation et espère pouvoir y retourner

it was like staying in a fairy house. my kids loved the animals and pool. The breakfast blew our minds best in france. hospitality was so warm and kind we will be back

Un super séjour en famille dans les arbres

Séjour dans une cabane dans les arbres : c'était parfait ! Exactement comme prévu / décrit. Les hôtes sont adorables, très accueillant. Les prestations offertes sont top (petit dej de haute volée, piscine, environnement "nature" Cabane nature, un peu rustique mais avec énormément de charme. Sejour en famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants de 6 et 3 ans) : tout le monde était ravi ! Nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir !

We had a fantastic experience staying in this charming treehouse with our family. It's a handcrafted place with lots of character, yet it’s very well equipped – there's electricity, running water, and even a bathroom with hot water, which was a big plus. The beds were really comfortable, and we all slept very well. One of the highlights was the lovely tour the owner gave us around the property. We got to meet all the animals – donkeys, rabbits, goats, chickens, and geese – which our kids absolutely loved. There’s also a small lake where you can fish and a pool to cool off in, making the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay in nature!

We had the best experience at the Cabane dans les arbres. Our car broke down when we were 20km from arriving and the hosts came to pick us up, even though it was very late. They supported us (the parents) with food and moral support the next day while we were on the phone with the rental car company. Meanwhile, the kids had the best day of their lives swimming and on the property's zipline. The tree house itself was cozy, with a copious breakfast (as described by others) and everything was perfect.

A lovely and fun place for a 2 night getaway in the treehouse at La Semondiere. The grounds, the animals, the small swimming pool and the zip wire were perfect for us. La cabane is amazing and the experience of a breakfast brought to you in the tree was excellent. There was a great variety of food delivered and a lot of it! Yves and Marie Celine are the perfect hosts and make you feel at home straight away. Will definitely come back to this quiet place in the Mayenne. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Great stay

Very well equipped tree house in the grounds of a lovely garden. Ideal for a short family break with young children, with a large garden for them to play in, a zip wire, rabbits/hens/donkeys, and a nice indoor swimming pool. Also a good size lake for fishing. Owners were extremely kind and welcoming, and what a breakfast! All in all a very relaxed place to go, with great hosts. It was especially nice that the children could have full freedom of the large garden. We would definitely go back, although if for more than two nights we would probably go for the gite option.

A special stay

A very friendly welcome to a magical treehouse in beautiful gardens. It was lovely to eat dinner and breakfast amongst the birds in the trees. Breakfast was particularly special, delivered in a basket on a rope straight up to the treehouse, with so much delicious food,! Our kids loved the pool and the animals on site too. Un matrimonio muy acogedor que nos aconsejó rutas muy bonitas. El desayuno era muy variado, casero, abundante, espectacular (brownies, yogures y mermeladas caseras, crepes, cafe buenisimo...). Nos ponían incluso tortilla y pan suficiente para hacernos picnic para comer. La cama super cómoda. Y mis hijas encantadas con la tirolina. La piscina no nos dio tiempo de usarla pero tenía buena pinta. La casa ideal para pocos dias o siendo menos ya que el espacio para una familia de era justito pero acogedor

Wow! Wow! Wow! This quirky, little place completely stole our hearts ♥️ My little boy was gutted we had to leave and said he'll never forgot this place or Yves- the farmer! 🥰 When we arrived we were invited into his home for beers around his kitchen table and he told us how he built the treehouse all by himself and the zip wires. Breakfast was delivered each morning to the treehouse in a basket where we ate it in the treetops- totally magical! There was enough food for breakfast, lunch and tea! Our children loved being able to wander around the farm, feeding the animals and the zip wire and pool were a big hit with them both!

Absolutely stunning location and quirky accommodation. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Showed us round and how things worked along with explaining about the grounds and the swimming pool they had, which they allowed us to use. Plenty of animals to see, with very talkative donkeys. Treehouse itself is wonderful and great to stop with kids or if you want a weekend stay away somewhere cosy with your significant other. Breakfast was delivered the following morning via the hand winch outside and the bell rung to tell us it was there. Croissants, bread, selection of cheeses, homemade jams, coffee, tea and fresh juices. Can't recommend this place enough!

A fantastic stay, started by then extremely hospitable hosts inviting us into their home for a beer/ soft drink to get everything arranged. Our 2 children loved the experience of staying in a real tree house. We unfortunately didn’t have time to make use of Yves pool as offered but the grounds and animals made for a lovely stay. The whole thing was topped off by a fantastic breakfast provided in a basket that Yves delivered to us and lifted up to the treehouse with a pulley system. It was filled with fresh bread, pastries, jams, eggs, meats, cheese, yoghurts, juice and anything you could ever ask for. We will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer next time!

Super moment en famille

2 nuits ainsi que les journées dans la cabane et dans le domaine. Nous avons profité de l'ensemble, piscine chauffée et couverte, tyroliennes, balançoires, promenade au bord de l'étang, etc. Les enfants ont aussi adoré leurs rencontres avec les animaux, lapins, moutons et ont adoré brosser les ânes. La cabane dans les arbres est super, il y a tout dedans pour passer un excellent moment en famille. Cuisine avec frigo, salle de bain avec douche, etc. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et sont toujours là si besoin. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, apporté à l'heure souhaitée, il est composé de produits frais, fermiers, dans une quantité plus que raisonnable. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le coin est très joli, nous avons visité des villages classés plus beaux de France. Nous avons fait plusieurs heures de route pour y passer ces moments, et nous ne regrettons rien. Nous espérons y retourner un jour tellement l'expérience était top.

Zip lines were a hit

Hosts were very kind and generous. The breakfast was with lots of options and very large. The garden was lovely and well kept with lots of flowers. The cabane had some wear and tear (stairways had missing wood, and the terasse surrounding the cabin was green with algae - which can be expected as there is no sunlight near the cabin). The pool was fine, the area around it was not so lovely (cleaning of algae, rust, etc). Children’s beds were not very comfortable. No internet in the cabin (but that was okay for us). Zip lines were a hit with the children. I would recommend it for the experience, and we enjoyed being “off the grid” - 1-2 nights is fine to try it.
