Härlig avkoppling
Bodde 9 dagar på detta fina hotell med fin trädgård och en lång, vacker strand att vandra utmed. Vissa dagar för kraftiga vågor för bad. Trevlig miljö och personal och bra service. Inte så många varmrätter att välja på men de ala carterätter vi valde att äta några gånger var mycket goda och prisvärda. Middagsbuffén ganska dyr. God frukostbuffé. Vi valde också ibland att äta på lokala restauranger i Salalah och i en närbelägen stadsdel. Bra gym!

Quaint hotel on beautiful grounds
Check-in was not great. Seems their system's integration with Hotels.com is faulty, and so they did not see we had booked 2 King rooms with beach access (i.e. ground floor facing the ocean). In the end, we had to settle moving to a 1 king room and 1 twin room, since 2 Kings with beach access weren't available. Beyond that though, our stay was pleasant. The hotel and rooms are quite dated (90s look) but the grounds and facilities are fantastic - 3 different pools, golf driving range, a dive center, children's playground, table tennis, two restaurants, a pub, and not to mention a deserted white sand beach on the Indian Ocean lined with an unlimited number of lounge chairs and barasti umbrellas. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Outside the hotel, it is surrounded by coconut, papaya and banana farms that creates a canopy and landscape that looks like Sri Lanka.

Da migliorare.
Resort vecchiotto ben manutento con alcune cose che devono essere migliorate: con la mezza pensione si puo' andare solamente all ocean blue con servizio a buffet che e' troppo rivolto ad un pubblico mediorientale senza tenere conto dei gusti europei... troppe spezie e troppo piccante e poca scelta.L altro ristorante e' a pagamento.All esterno dell hotel non ci sono strutture quindi si e' obbligati a pranzare in hotel ( non si puo usufruire della mezza pensione quando si vuole,... solo cena) ed il pranzo costa 17 rial (42€circa) ... uno sproposito. Una birretta costa tra i 5 ed i 6 rial ( tra i 12 ed i 14 euro). Il bar della piscina ha qualche piccola scelta sempre con costi onerosi. In spiaggia non ce' un servizio bar , ne e' possibile pranzare vicino agli ombrelloni. Non ce' un servizio di gestione della spiaggia... tutti mettono un asciugamano x riservare il posto e poi se ne vanno e magari tornano dopo 2 ore ... dovrebbe essere gestito dall hotel per non creare le solite discussioni.Pulizie della stanza migliorabili. Con quello che si spende dovrebbero dare piu' servizi . rapporto qualita' prezzo alquanto scarso. Eccellente x gentilezza e disponibilita' lo staff, molto bravi. Abbiamo avuto l'opportunita' di festeggiare il capodanno nella struttura, in quel caso buffet davvero ottimo e vario e festa ben riuscita e ben organizzata. Voglio sottolineare che quando vogliono fanno le cose molte bene. Ottimo il servizio da/per l'aeroporto gratuito e ottima l'acqua gratis ai pasti

I had an Amazing stay at Crownie plaza Salalah!!! Partially because of the gorgeous weather but mostly because of the staff at that hotel. It was my second visit( and I strongly believe there will be many more:) and, when I though it could not get any better, it actually did!! I got the Royal treatment with a beautiful room, comfy bed and even more comfortable pillows, tons of hugs, smiles, kind words from the hotel Team, delicious fruit and pastry platers, and fountains of water and Earl Grey tea ( right, Muhasin:)Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate my every single need. Special thanks to my fav staff members - Mae and Darshana from reception desk, very knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, kind and helpful; I also would like to mention Muhasin, with his happy and funny personality, who made sure I stayed hydrated :)) during my stay there, and the amazing chef who made sure the food was absolutely delicious every single day. Additionally, I’d like to thank all the restaurant as well as housekeeping staff, Elvira, Shasinle, Sabir, Rana in particular ( I am sorry i cannot recall all the names) who work extremely hard to please everyone. I’m not sure if there’s another place with such impecable service like here in Crowne Plaza Salalah!❣️They all deserve five stars and a significant raise:)) It is truly my home away from home! And I cannot wait to visit Crowne Plaza Salalah next year. Thank you so very much, guys! You really made my stay very special ❤️

The hotel offers free airport transfer which is very rare these days. I arrived early in the morning and they allowed me to check in. Room and facility conditions are very good. Highly recommend.

One of the worst hotel I have ever been. Very bad service, very dirty room, very dirty pillows and sheets, very dirty towels, very bad service .. this hotel was just a wasting of money and time .. There was a lady in the front disk, she was very bad .. I told her that I fond a dirty towel in my bathroom and I show her the picture of the dirty pillow .. but she never apologized for any of these issues.. Also, they gave me different room than what I booked for .. When I want to check out, I call them and asked for a trolley, but they did not send it .. There is no parking when you come to the hotel at night… Very bad food and very bad service and very bad staff .. there were only two nice guy at the front desk (one guy from Oman and one from Egypt) I will never come back to this hotel and I will never recommend it for anyone .. I was not happy with the very bad service and very bad staff .. The hotel is very expensive, but it did not worth it at all ..

Great hotel and five star staff
The first thing to note is the staff was impeccable, from morning breakfast buffets to house keeping to evening sheesha/hookas by the beach- we were continually impressed throughout our 4 day stay. The location is perfect for a balance of beach, pool, and getting around. The hotel is well maintained and once again, the staff really has our resp!

Weisser Strand, warmes Wasser, guter Preis
Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Wegen dem Coronavirus hatte es fast wenig Touristen - schade für das Hotel, gut für uns. In den Restaurants hätte ich mir etwas mehr Seafood gewünscht, für ein Resort am Meer. Am besten mit einem Mietauto. Zu Fuss in die Stadt ist zu weit.
