This was my first time staying at a Marriott, and it will absolutely be my last at this location.
I travel a lot for work, and I don’t need luxury—but I do expect basic cleanliness and things to function. This place missed both by a mile.
From the start, it felt cold and unwelcoming. It looked like it had been cleaned, but clearly just rushed. Trash areas were dirty, and the overall facility felt neglected.
My first room? Coffee still sitting on the counter, toilet that wouldn’t flush, and visible grime. Maintenance told me it’s “normal” to hold the handle down for 30 seconds and sometimes flush twice… and then proceeded to explain how toilets work like I’m the issue.
It gets better. Windows don’t open—and you wouldn’t want them to anyway because you can’t even see through them. They’re completely clouded over, and the window tracks clearly haven’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Found someone else’s hair on the counter too.
I switched rooms. Slightly better—but still dirty and run down. The dresser drawers don’t stay closed, so when you walk by, you end up smashing your knee on them. That’s not just annoying—it’s a safety issue.
This isn’t about being picky. This is about basic standards: clean rooms, working plumbing, and a little respect for guests. None of that was here.
If you’re thinking about staying here—don’t. There are plenty of places that actually take pride in their property and care about their guests. This isn’t one of them.
