“Absolutely stunning part palace part hotel. Stayed on the Golden Suite which had comfy double bed and separate small sitting room. Close to the fort. Lovely rooftop restaurant and separate breakfast room. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.”

“The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!”

“Hotellet har en väldigt bra utsikt över fortet från restaurangen på taket. Restaurangen har väldigt god och billig mat. Rummet var bra och förhållandevis stort för priset. De städade inte medan vi var där, men kanske var det för att vi alltid hade med oss nyckeln, vissa hotell städar bara om man lämnar in nyckeln. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. “Loved my stay at here—completely overdelivered for the price. New property, beautifully maintained. Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the fort entrance. Gorgeous rooftop area with the best views in town. Lovely, attentive staff. Helped me upgrade easily when a room became available. They don’t have a traditional restaurant, but the food they had was very good. Only quibble was that the pool wasn’t quite clean enough to swim in. Otherwise, great stay.”

“I had checked late in night and it was very hard to wake them up for check-in. Neither their was any bell to ring nor contact number were picked. After knocking door several time they opened the door and i was checked in”

“This place is just lovely, the owner is very kind and knowledgable, and they can arrange any tours. I enjoyed the desert safari, and you can ride in the jeep if you don't want to ride the camels. They offer pickup and drop off from the train station, which is amazing. The rooms are large and comfortable, and there is a nice rooftop cafe and lounge, which is great for meeting other travelers.
