"This place was incredible from every perspective. First of all Jose and his wife were generous, kind and thoughtful from booking right to meeting us (late at night) at the house and showing us around. The wine, beer and cookies were a lovely extra touch. The house was perfection. Cozy, comfortable, modern renovation but maintained all of its old charm. Beds we're comfortable, and a clothes rack provided for each of us. We felt like we were waking up in paradise every morning."

"We had a relaxing stay in this peaceful location. The house is well equipped and very clean. Susana our host lives nearby and checked in with us via text. She was friendly and not intrusive. The pool kept our children entertained. There is plenty to do in the area if you dont mind a drive. The only issue was the patchy internet which cannot be helped given the rural location. We were happy to disconnect for a while and relax. We would book again."

"Wir waren Ende Februar hier; da konnte es nachts recht kühl werden. Schön, dass es einen Kaminofen mit kostenlosem Heizholz gab und die Klimaanlage im Notfall auch heizte. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad - man kann für größere Gruppen auch Wohnungen verbinden. Unsere Wohnung ("Landhaus") hatte eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit vorgelagerter, überdachter Veranda, von der man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Garten und die Umgebung bis zur Burg von Marvao hatte. "What a sweet stay we had at Antonio’s flat in Beira! The apartment has everything you need and is fully modernized. From the remarkable countryside near the town, to the flat’s lovely terrace, and of course the dynamite liqueur made by his father which he shared with us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "Tapada da Beirã was a charming villa, it had everything we could have wished for, the hosts were lovely and were on hand with advice and knowledge of the area. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax or eat al fresco and a super swimming pool. You need a car to get around, the nearest shop is in Santo António das Areias. About 20 steps from the Villa is a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing as were the staff."

"We stayed for 3 nights in 44 degrees. The rooms were cool, the pool very welcomed. Supermarket was about 6 Kms away, easy drives to marvao and castello de vide, both recommended historical hilltop towns."

"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"Me parece un sitio tranquilo, bonito, muy bien surtido. El anfitrión (Carlos) estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nosotros que no nos faltara de nada. Además nuestro perro se lo pasó genial. Recomiendo este alojamiento."

"Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. Os miúdos adoraram brincar no exterior e interagir com os animais da quinta. Como aspetos menos positivos a limpeza (alguns locais da cozinha menos acessíveis como as prateleiras de cima dos armários e alguns utensílios como o bule e a torradeira não estavam limpos e prontos a utilizar). "Bon petit déjeuner inclus. céréales fruits charcuterie pains pâtisseries. Il faut demander une capsule au personnel pour utiliser la machine à cafe espresso. Si non il y a un thermos de café filtre Chambre petite mais confortable. L’hôtel est dans la vieille ville fortifiée non loin du château. Très bien situé "

"Familiar hotel, the owner is amazing and friendly. We’ve got un upgrade on our rooms, but there were cockroaches and not so clean. Pool was ok, check in and check out ok."
