“Loved this house and the quiet respite in the woods. It is a bit far from the village, but so lovely. Spacious suites are comfortable and bathroom is beautiful. The bed was wonderful. The staff was kind and gracious. Will visit again!”

“It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind.”

“If you stay here make sure they don’t put you on the 1st floor. My family and I will never be staying at this hotel again. We were put on the 1st floor and our room floor had water coming up from the seems everywhere. I told the front desk and the man there came to see and gave me extra towels to put on the floor. It didn’t help because the towels got soaked within an hour and then were just walking on wet towels. I told the front desk that we were very upset so she said they would have...

“This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside.”

“Property was clean and well maintained p. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were quiet.”

“Strong points are: beautiful views; spacious room; quiet; clean, staff cheerful and eager to please. Weak points were: shower/tub requires a mat or something to avoid slipping on the floor of the bathtub; owner will surely get sued if not fixed. Secondly, the TV requires 2 remotes; instructions given were totally inadequate. Matthew and I worked together to produce a clear simple instruction sheet which he says he will distribute to the other rooms.”

“The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...
