We stayed for only 1 night but everything went very well, nice quate location, beautiful view from hotel porch, room was clean, A/C a bit noisy and not cooling well, but for us it was OK. Overall it's a good place place to stay for a couple nights.

Not worth the money
Wasn’t worth the money. There is so pool, spa, or even a store to buy night snacks. Next time I will stay in a cabin.

Hi Rachel. There is no where listed that we offer a pool or a spa at this time. We do have a store, as the paper in your room listed the items and you received a text message with the information sharing such.

Recommend this motel and view
We were very pleased with this motel. We didn't contact the owners until late in the day. They responded back promptly with arrangements for the room and key. The room was clean and ready for us with towels and a message to contact them if we needed anything. Very hospitable. Location was good, right off the road. This is an 'old-style' motel that the owners have modernized. They were currently upgrading some other units which was a positive thing to see. bonus was that we had an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains in the evening out our back door. Recommend.

The property is undergoing renovations, on a room-by-room basis, but hadn’t reached the room we were assigned. I wondered why all the other cars were parked on the other side of the facility. Supposedly we were paying for one of the upscale rooms with two queen beds. It was clean but a bit cramped. One of the mattresses made squeaking noises and the HVAC was loud and finding a comfortable setting was a bit of a challenge. Beautiful view of the mountains from the rear of the property.

Hi Robert,You had reserved a deluxe double (which is two full size beds in a room with a door to the back), which is on the side of the building you were on...where cars were parked was mainly for what types of rooms people had booked! We currently have one renovated room, with two more debuting in the next couple of weeks, which happen to be deluxe's and will reflect the term!Good to know about the squeaky bed, I will look into that, thanks for letting us know. Any hvacs needing attention, will be replaced in our renovation process. I hadn't heard from anyone that there were issues with the one in your room, so again, thanks for bringing it to our attention! :)

Great family run motel.
Love the family owned motel. They are renovating so be prepared. The Mountain View is worth the extra bucks. Place has potential and it looks like the family is maki habit happen.

Beautiful mountain view, but didn't get what is the difference between with view or not as all the rooms standing in the raw and you can see actually beautiful view only went out of the room.

I found the stay to be quite peaceful. Standing on the top of the mountain early in the morning, taking in the air & view was unparalleled to any place I’ve stayed before. Going down the mountains to the river and seeing how crystal clear it was & listening to the flowing water. The small town restaurants down the road had great food. Will definitely recommend and return to this stay

This is just a very old motel that is also very secluded. Did not feel safe there at all. Extremely disappointing. The room rate of $200 was ridiculous for this place. We left without staying.

On arrival the property was CLOSED with an emergency phone number on the office door. The calls were answered by voice mail. When the calls were returned the innkeeper was snarky and indicated that our reservation was for a later date, which it was NOT. The portion of the property which was visible showed signs of poor upkeep. (Admittedly the innkeeper stated that the property was closed for maintenance). Amenities were lacking compared with other properties at this price. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. ZERO STARS OR LESS.

We understand you had a bad experience but you fail to mention that your reservation was due for check in on July 14th Friday. We have proof of said reservation and was not the date mentioned in your review. We blocked the dates to not inconvenience our guest due to maintenance closures. Your reservation was done through Expedia. Expedia should have made you aware that we were not accepting reservations. We also do not respond kindly to threats by your husband. If you come with that kind of aggression we have the right to refuse service. However as you can see our reviews speak for themselves. Just because you made a mistake on the date of your arrival, you do not have to take it out on us. If I was snarky, my apologies however your husband was very rude and threatening, that is why I may have come across as snarky and then he admitted to me you made the mistake so I am not understanding the harshness of your review. Anyway thank you and we hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

This little lodge was like a “Diamond in the rough”. It was very clean and the rooms were nice but nothing fancy, a little outdated. Bed was very comfortable and the AC worked and it is a place I would stay at again when I’m back in the area. The employees were so kind and very welcoming.

Nice suprise
Really nice lodge, staff was very nice and the location was fantastic. What a view outback of lodge, fire pit, chairs and a view of the valley was a great surprise. Very pet fiend with doggie bag dispenser all around lodge. Great place to stay the night for sure.

Location was great, views of the mountain was amazing. The staff was extremely accommodating, the room has what you need for a comfortable stay and the price is affordable. It’s close to the Gorge Ziplines which was fantastic. Would stay here again.

Basic amenities - clean room, mountain top views and very convenient to hikes (Little and Big Bradley Falls, Green River Game Lands), a quick drive into the historic town, easy interstate access. No bkfst provided but coffee is. Bonfire area in back was great for our cooler fall weather.

The view was amazing morning and night. Cute little outdoor area. The walls were thin and our neighbors came in late (and noisily), but turning on the fan helped. The rooms could use some updating, but the beds were nice (and comfortable), and it was super close to great local restaurants and the small downtown area.

It was wonderful!! We were sble to go out our back door, sit at any table and watch the sun set over the mountains. Gorgeous!! The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the ability yo make a pot of coffee was nice.
