âSpent two nights in the Bell Hotel before the rest of my golfing buddies arrived for gold at the Princess and Royal S:t George. Great hotel with excellent location in the centre of Sandwich with walking distance to literally everything. You find a pub or restaurant just around any corner basically with an individual style and atmosphere. A place I will revisit again ! â
âWonderfully appointed apartment - nicely positioned too if you're looking for a place to stay while touring Kent's coastal towns. Owner was communicative and friendly. Would recommend.â

âI booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
âLovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...
âThe room was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean food in restaurant was excellent good breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful overall a very enjoyable stay they couldnât do enough for you definitely one to go to againâ

âA fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke Williamâđđ â
âThis hotel is a characterful gem. Relaxed vibe. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. â
