OCEAN SIDE och centralt beläget på ön. 8 minuters promenad till havet eller 5 minuters promenad till ljudet! Ny i mark privat saltvatten pool med egen dusch och en badtunna. Tre historier om fantastiska! Detta katedral-ed tak, ljust och luftigt hem välkomnar de som tycker om öppna utrymmen, rena rum, smakfull inredning och fantastisk utsikt. TV, DVD, stereo, etc., tillhandahålls. Den utomhusdusch och omklädningsrummet är stort och privat. Gilla att fiska? Vänta tills du ser vårt fiskrengöringsrum. Det är skärmad, har varmt och kallt vatten, el och en stor bänk. Nära till städstationen finns ett picknickbord och kolgrill. Bekvämligheterna är anpassade för dem som tycker om utomhus och komforten inomhus. Hyr inte din utrustning. En paddleboard, kajaker, cyklar, majshål och boogiebrädor finns. Extra är hela kommer att få dig att känna att detta är ditt andra hem. Du kommer att njuta av den extra omsorg vi lägger in i denna strand hemma. Detta är inte bara ditt grundläggande strandhus. Clean, cozy, convenient, and private

We had a great time relaxing in the pool and hot tub in the evenings. Very private location. We prefer staying away from the busier areas of the OBX, which makes this a great location. Short drive to the 4 wheel beach access. About 15 minutes to a grocery store.Bedrooms have plenty of storage. The kitchen is well equipped. Laundry on the ground flood is nice. Kids and adults took full advantage of the outdoor showers. Some taking showers outside all week in the private shower.Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Best stay in OBX yet!

We really enjoyed everything the house has to offer. This is the first house in OBX that we have stayed at that we truly enjoyed! We loved all the extras the house let us use like chairs and bikes etc…. This house truly felt like a home, the beds were comfy and it’s close to just about anything. Not to mention we chatted it up with some of the local neighbors everyone was so welcoming! We 100% recommend for anyone looking for a great family get-away!

Lovely Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Connie’s home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable for our family. We loved the pool and hot tub. Connie has a ton of items available for guests to borrow and use, which was incredibly generous. The surrounding area is nice and the walk to the beach is just down the road. We weren’t too far away from places we wanted to visit either. Connie was kind and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come for another visit in the future. Thank you Connie for allowing us to stay in your home and for your kindness!

The listing is fairly accurate and the owners did check in with us. The house is in good shape and the pool is small but nice. Same for hot tub. Lift works great. The house does have many items (kitchen items, cleaning items, air pumps, bikes, kayaks) making the stay more comfortable. I would say some upgrades with the furniture is needed. Overall this house was great and I would stay there again.

One great week!

This property had everything we needed for a fun summer/beach stay. It was everthing that was listed and then some. Plenty of extras that came in handy. We had the beach to ourselves every day. We will definitely come back again.

BEWARE

Owner of property does not disclose that there are cameras around the property, specifically overlooking the pool/hot tub. During our stay the Owner texted multiple times, always stating “the pool guy” said this or that. When I questioned the pool guy about these comments he stated he has not spoken to the owner in over a month. We felt like we were being watched, did not feel comfortable sitting on the porch because of the cameras, did not feel comfortable when using the pool which ultimately limited our time outside of the property of which we paid a lot of money to stay in. Our yearly family vacation was ruined and I would NEVER recommend renting from this owner!!

Beautiful!

House was beautiful and very clean! It was refreshing to see that after our previous rentals thru some of the island rental agencies. Lots of extras were provided that weren't in the listing! Our group loved the pool and hot tub-again, both were so clean and well maintained. House is situated in a great area--not too far from groceries, restaurants, shopping!

Great family time

We had a great time. We were a little disappointed the vegetable garden that was in the remarks was not available. The walk on the sand dunes to the beach was a little cumbersome for us and the sand was hot. But I know that can’t really be changed. I would live to see some of the stuff left at the home to use for the beach to be updated a little. We found broken and unusable items. We’d definitely stay again though and the host was extremely easy to work with.

Great house! A few things need attention….

The house is spacious, clean and well appointed. It’s one of the nicest and most comfortable we have rented. We had everything we needed inside and loved the layout of the house and the upper deck. The elevator was great for arrival day! We also loved the pool and hot tub. With young children (10, 7, 4) the pool was great when we were not at the beach. My only complaint is that the recreational and beach equipment is in really poor shape. There was only one rusty beach chair (for 7 people), the three boogie boards were all broken, the clip-on beach umbrellas were rusted and broken, the bikes all had flat tires and rusty chains (the tire pump was ancient and didn’t work), there was only one set of wheels for the three kayaks so no way to transport them to the Sound down a very long block to the access point. Additionally, there is no raised organic garden, just overgrown weeds. There is no corn hole game. There was a broken water basketball floating hoop, no ball. In fairness, the owner reimbursed me for the purchase of three beach chairs and ordered a bike pump that was delivered midweek. The whole carport area and fish cleaning area could use a good clean out. There is a lot of useless stuff in a general state of disrepair. We managed with what was there, but it was disappointing, considering the glowing descriptions and photos.

Best Vacation Escape

Wonderful vacation Home. Located on a dead end quiet street. Kids enjoyed bike rides daily using the bikes that are provided here. Easy access to the beach. Took advantage of the beach supplies that are provided in the car port. Great pool and hot tub. Centrally located to Everything. Dollar General less than a mile away. The owners have provided every amenity needed to enjoy your stay. Would Definitely recommend this location and return again in the future. The owners are wonderful, attentive, and easy to communicate with. Reported an issue with the dryer and they had it replaced in less than a day. Beautiful home!!!! Don't look any further. Perfect home and location for all families.

Wonderful home away from home

This house was a perfect fit for our family of five, although we could have comfortably fit 2 more as listed. The house is very nice with a kitchen/dining/living space upstairs, bedrooms on the middle floor, and another bedroom and bar area downstairs. The pool and hot tub are very well kept. The owners have some supplies to share such as a beach cart, a few beach toys, coolers, etc. The owners encourage using and sharing some staples, which is super convenient and less wasteful. The walk to the ocean beach is about 10 minutes, which basically is just a stroll down the street and over the dune. The owner is very nice and responsive when contacted. My family absolutely loved it and hope to come back again next year.

Thanksgiving Trip

I have been in different rentals before where cooking anything was impossible, but we had an easy time in this well stocked kitchen making thanksgiving dinner. The location is quiet, close to the beach, and walking distance from a convenience store. The house was clean and comfortable and the cargo lift was the best!

Excellent location for beach wedding in Rodanthe / Salvo

Overall, property was pretty much as advertised. However, we were unable to utilize the outside lift to move luggage etc. to upper floors since the previous renter lost or took the remote control. Although the property owner was very apologetic, no effort was made to replace the remote control during our stay.

Beach Home Away From Home

We had a great girls getaway trip! The fully stocked kitchen has all the amenities you may need which made preparing meals a breeze. The short walk to the beach was great! We walked to the ocean every morning for the sunrise and watched the sun set across the street on the sound. Breathtaking views! The pool and hot tub were very clean and added another opportunity for relaxation. Connie was very responsive which is always appreciated. We hope to book again next year!
