“We had a terrible experience at Samlesbury. The room had no noice cancellation, we could hear everything from outside in the corridor. Doors opening, people talking, it felt like they were standing in the room. It was room 201, dont stay in that.When taking a shower, it was so damp that it was dripping from the cealing for an hour after. When we arrived they couldnt find our reservation for 10 minutes. “A return visit to this hotel, this time in a bigger room. Impressed with it the 1st time, hence the return visit and will no doubt be returning again in the future. Easy access to the building and room with codes supplied via email. The room was lovely and clean and the windows were open when we got there, which was a great help as it was a warm day, I would like to see a better cooling fan provided in the room though. All-in-all another great night in Preston at Winckley Square, thank you.”

“We had a great stay overall. Parking was a bit tricky to find initially (go past the pub then turn left) but reception told me where to park. Comfortable room with all amenities provided to cook. Wasn’t absolutely spotless but it was clean enough. Friendly and helpful staff and the phone passes were a faff but it worked out well in the end. Option to get cards so that’s nice. Overall very comfy and would happily stay again, especially if it was cheaper.”
