I enjoyed my stay at the bed and breakfast mainly for the privacy and the "home" feeling to it. I felt like I was living at home and not at some hotel. I was able to park my small 4 door car in the small spaces in the back of the property. Restaurants, good ones I might add, attractions, were all just a few blocks away. If I needed to go farther I could call Uber or Lyft for a small fee compared to what you pay for at the parking garages downtown. The room itself was very clean. There was everything in it that was described in the hotel amenities. I had made all my arrangements with Deb, over email. I didn't get to see her during my stay, but I briefly talked to her over the phone at checkout. This was my first time at a B & B and it was a completely different checking in/out process from what everyone's used to when going to an hotel. Deb gave me instructions on how to check in, and as my guest and I entered the room it was all nice and neat. Deb left us notes in several areas. There were instructions for the television, the coffee maker, for the shower and a guidebook on local places to visit. The only things that I didn't like was that I wasn't able to control the temperature in my room, but she had a heater and a fan in the room so that made things work. Other than this I really liked the place. I wish I could have stayed longer. My room, Provence, had a big shower and hot tub. My guest and I really enjoyed that. We also loved having the small deck outside to hang out in.
