The experience started with a grumpy front desk employee who couldn’t even muster the to lift his head and look up at me as he had me initial every line of their stupid contract / disclaimers and sign twice on two separate forms exactly alike, both of which they kept.
I could not connect to their WIFI because they use an antiquated URL redirect method that is insecure and is blocked by secure laptops. The front desk was like, “Oh well…” I needed the internet for an important meeting which was the whole reason I stayed there.
On top of all that, when I figured out a way to connect and set up for my meeting in their business center, the manager promptly came over, and in her best hall monitor tone of voice kicked me out, informing me that they did not allow personal equipment to be used in the business center. What an awful experience.
