While the entire house, pool and backyard is yours to enjoy. We do not allow access to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is an attached, but separate unit from the main house. It shares a driveway with the main house but has its own private entrance, private parking area, and private yard. There is full privacy for both the house with no connections to each other. The Nest sits in a wonderful safe neighborhood and we can't wait to share it with you.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Our house is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with well landscaped mature trees. If you like walking and running, then it’s a place for you!

We are 5 min walk to Redlands Community hospital, 2.2 miles to University of Redlands, and 6 min drive to Loma Linda University, Downtown Redlands and major attractions.

The Downtown Redlands corridor is speckled with local parks, historic sites, old orange groves and an Umbrella Alley. Held every Thursday night, the Market Night was established in 1988 and is a great place to be at.

Professional Services During Your Stay: 🧹🌿
To keep our home well-maintained and comfortable for every guest, we work with professional service providers. During your stay, you may notice them taking care of the following:
• Pest Control: Routine treatments to keep the home pest-free. Since we’re close to nature, you might occasionally encounter a critter or two.
• Yard Maintenance: Gardeners are there every WEDNESDAY to service the lawn.
• Pool Service: Pool is serviced every MONDAY morning between 7AM to 9AM. It is recommended that you refrain from using the pool for 3 hours right after it has been serviced.
These services are scheduled with care to minimize any impact on your stay.

Starter Supplies: 🧴🧻
We include a reasonable starter amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. Beyond the starter package, our guests are expected to manage their refills for an extended stay.

Verification Portal: 🔐
To keep everything secure and smooth, we might ask for a government-issued ID, a confirmation of your contact details, a matching credit card, and possibly a quick background check. Don’t worry—your information is only used for verification and isn’t stored.

By booking, you agree to our rental terms, provide the necessary documents before check-in, and understand that check-in details will be sent after we complete the verification.
We'll also place a temporary hold of $500 on your credit card as a security deposit. This hold is just a pre-authorization and will be released automatically within 2 days after check-out, as long as everything goes smoothly.

Pets: 🐾
We have a strict no pet policy. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 charge per pet.

Late Check-Out Policy: ⏰
Late check-out requests are subject to approval and must be made at least one day before your scheduled check-out. Please note that unauthorized late check-outs will incur a fee of $150 per hour.

Utility Cap: 💡💧
For stays of 14 nights or longer, there is a utility cap of $500 per month (covering gas, water, and electricity combined). This is a generous allowance for a home of this size, and in most cases, guests remain well within the limit. In the rare event of usage exceeding this cap, overages may be charged separately.

Pool & Spa Heating 🏊
We charge $250 to heat the pool upfront and then $150 per day. We need 2 days of advance notice and payment if you wish to heat the pool. We charge $25 per day to heat the spa.

Pool Safety and Spa Notice: ⚠️🏊‍♂️
PLEASE BE AWARE, The backyard itself is gated and secure, but the pool and spa do not have an additional perimeter safety fence directly around them. For the safety of all guests, especially minors, adult supervision is required at all times when anyone is using or being near the pool or spa. We are not responsible or will not be held liable for any accidents or deaths that could occur. Guests are fully responsible for monitoring minors and each other ensuring safe use of the pool. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Party/Event Policy: 🚫🎉
We have zero tolerance to any loud party/events. In event of breach, you will be strictly asked to leave immediately and vacate the property.

As a Host, my aim is to ensure that you have as comfortable a stay as you possibly can. I want you and your guests to create lasting memories during your stay in our house. But to do so, I would really appreciate if you could follow the below house rules.
I know, I know, rules are boring… But these rules ensure we can provide future guests with a great experience!


Parking: Park your car off the Olive Ave, please do not block the mail box to make sure the mail guy can timely deliver our mails. No Camper van or RV parking is allowed. Needs host approval for more than 2 cars.


Kitchen: Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We supply tea and coffee, as well as cooking utensils should you wish to cook. My only request is that you wash all dishes and utensils prior to leaving.
Please enjoy your meal only in the dining room. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.


A/C and Heating: The property has 2 smart thermostat located in the living room and 2nd floor hallway. User manual is provided in the House Guide.
Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house.


Noise: As neighbors surround our property, we would appreciate if you could keep noise down after 9pm if possible. No parties or events.


Laundry: There is a washer and dryer available for you to use, with washing powder in the trolley.
