“Nice place high up on a hill. Lovely room, like living in a medieval castle. We took the bus and it was difficult to find the right bus stop which resulted in a longer walk than expected. Very friendly and helpful staff. ”

The Bed and Breakfast lies at the very bottom of the mountain and it is a very steep uphill walk to central Assisi. There are no food shops close to the B and B, which makes it a difficult stay without a car, and especially to stay there with children (as I did). However, the B and B is close to the beautiful, spiritual and tranquil place of San Damiano, which we visited many times, and the hotel...

“över den italienska landsbygden. Trevlig personal och fantastiskt rum (tornrummet). :Maten var OK men inte mycket mer. Men vi blev väl på passade och drack ett väldigt gott lokalt vin. Resan upp till hotellet bjöd på en hänförande upplevelse. Hotellet hade en trevlig pool där man hade utsikt över det vidsträckta landskapet. Det är väldigt backigt så det var svårt att tex. gå ut och springa. Det finns inte så mycket att göra där så ett par nätte räcker nog. Väldigt avkopplande vistelse!”

“Breakfast sugar overdose, for sure. The hotel is conveniently located close to Perugia train station, but mind that the city center is 400mt elevated in relation to the hotel. I injured myself during the trip and had to move with crotches. This was a challenge, as Perugia is truly a hilly town. However, the hotel is very well connected by bus that takes you straight from the hotel door to several main squares of the city in 20 minutes. The staff was very very kind, in particular the staff...
