Strålande utsikt!
Utsikten är magnifik! Bra standard på utrustningen, det enda vi saknade var vinglas. Vi testade aldrig poolen som låg separat en bit ifrån.

The location can’t be beat. Our unit had no heat or air conditioning except for space heaters. This was a problem in the back bedroom that had no room for a heater and had no sliding door to let the ocean breeze in. The blinds were broken, making sleep difficult if you need darkness. On our last night, I used the microwave which tripped a circuit for all the lights in the kitchen, dining area and living room.

The property is run down, not up to date, and dirty. The bathrooms have cracks. The mirrors have rusting, looks like blood stains. There are not enough blankets, you have to wash your own towels, and there was only one roll of paper towels and toilet paper. It’s totally uncomfortable. If I didn’t have to pay extra to fly home early I would leave now! VERY VERY disappointed! The only positive is the ocean view, however the beach is pretty but we don’t even have beach towel in unit to lay with! Horrible experience. DO NOT book here!

We have stayed at the Capri 4 times and love it. It's very quiet, which is great after long days walking the beaches of Pacific Beach. We much prefer staying here to staying in a hotel room.

Amazing view of the ocean, and right on the beach. very easy access to the beach. At least for the unit we stayed in it showed some wear and tear. Check in and out were easy, and the neighborhood had lots of options for restaurants and a grocery store near by.

The last day of our trip extremely loud construction sounds began due to a remodel in the unit above ours. There was no manager on site due to a holiday but the resort representative rudely stated there was nothing she could do and would not call her superior. The sounds continued all day. My husband had conference calls that he couldn’t join and we were forced to leave the unit to get away from the noise. A noise ordinance was very clearly posted and the penalty was a fine. There was no notice to me or discounted rate due to construction in the rental agreement. The experience left a bad taste after what would have otherwise been a nice trip.

Location, location, location
Breathtaking views all around. Three or four sliding glass doors that when open bring in all the wonderful soothing beach sounds and fresh air. So many great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Full kitchen. Grocery store 3 blocks away. This is just a great location no matter where you have plans in San Diego. Parking provided. Can’t go wrong with this one. We didn’t want to leave. Loved our stay. Would love to book again here in the future.

310 - Great spot- some issues to be aware of.
Room is perfect for families. Two bedroom two bath. Grate view. It was dirty though. One of the sheets smelled horrible. Bring slippers because the floors were grimy. I would up cleaning them myself. We intended to cook, but couldn’t really. pots were put away half dirty. One had burned rice in it. The frying pan couldn’t be used because most of the Teflon had flaked away. The point of getting a full kitchen is to cook, but we couldn’t use that amenity. There were also only two beach towels. With thee beds, there should have been 4, so we had to go buy some. We go every year because we love the property and the area. I’d love to go back to that unit, but I’d have to bring my own equipment…

The great stay!
Cleanliness was the only issue, they could have done a better job. Depending on the room you choose its either going to be modern or a little outdated. I was stuck in between both. You can see they were doing updates but then there were items are just falling apart. However the great thing about it, depending on the room you choose, the view is breath taking. You are staying in a condo for the duration with bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, coined laundry machines on each floor, less than 2 min walk down to the beach. You will not be disappointed.

Great view, ok accommodation
The stay was nice the view was amazing, it’s within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops however the property could use some repairs and updates and towels smelled musty. I know being on the ocean moisture can cause this issue so not a huge problem. The keys were not in the box after 4 when we arrived luckily there was a lady there that could help us but they are only there M-F until 5 so if you have any issues over the weekend good luck reaching anyone. The WiFi was super slow and all the streaming networks are locked so you can’t use them which is pretty weird but we were not there most of the day but that would’ve been nice to have in the evening

Loved my stay here! It accommodated my family with room to spare. Walk out onto the beach, close to shopping and restaurants. It’s a Great place to stay. I recommend Capri by the Sea!

Beach was great, hotel not so much
The direct beach access it the BEST part of this hotel. It's a quick walk down from the hotel and has a few chairs and umbrellas they loan you. BUT, our rooms were pretty disappointing. There were multiple cracked tiles in the bathrooms, outlets that didn't work (including the ONLY two in the master bath), broken screen door, really dim lighting, lightbulbs either burnt out or the outlet wasn't working (we weren't sure which it was), DIRTY kitchenware/dishes, kitchen garbage covered in dried food/debris...it was just gross. Beds & linens were clean. Carpets were pretty stained. I think for the price we paid, they would take care of the property a little bit more. Staff was not very friendly or helpful when asking questions. Definitely got the impression that they knew the beach was their selling point and the condition of the hotel wasn't a high priority. I plan to look elsewhere for our next vacation....this would be my last resort.

Walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms were large, but everything was somewhat outdated. The condition of the property was only fair. BEWARE!: the parking lot can be very slippery when wet.

It’s a beautiful place and very convenient location. The only downside is if you come during hot weather, they don’t have AC, and only one room has ceiling fan. We stayed during the hottest days of heat wave and it was absolutely terrible experience.

The location was excellent, we loved being on Pacific Beach. There were also some beach amenities that came as part of the room that made our beach days so relaxing! This includes chairs, umbrella, and boogie board. We kept the patio doors open to constantly hear and smell the ocean. It was a great choice to stay! I travelled with my sister, and we both felt safe at the hotel. There were many levels where you had to scan a key fob to get in, which made us feel safe with all the foot traffic going by. The included parking was also an immense help, since we wanted to take some day trips out nearby. Thank you!

First time to San Diego. Everyone who works at this property is rude and has no customer service experience. I would never come back for this reason. My parking spot assigned to me in the garage would not allow us to open the trunk because there was a huge beam on the ceiling. When I asked if I could take the next spot over they told me no. Meanwhile the spot was empty the whole week we were there. There was no air conditioning so if there was no wind coming from the ocean the condo was like a sauna. The view to the ocean was amazing.

Poor except the sea view
The room was not ready by the check-in time 4pm. The condition of the room was in a range of ok to filthy. We were left with half roll of toilet paper and the disher wasn’t unloaded. The only thing we loved is the sea view.

Stayed in "Deluxe Condo". I think it was semi overpriced but the view was worth it. We had a corner condo on the 6th floor and the views of the ocean and pier were amazing. The condo felt very safe and secure, even the elevators required the room key fob to operate. Everything felt clean. Staff was also accommodating with a late check out.

It’s an HOA property so it was very quiet and right off the beach perfect for a getaway with the family or just your spouse. Plenty of food places and fun activities in the area such as an escape room etc.
