Slitet men kändes säkert
Slitet hotell men läget var bra. Trots att det var nedgånget så kändes anläggningen som säker och det var god beläggning. En typisk amerikansk pool bar fanns och var trevlig med biljard och country musik.

BEFORE RENEVATION
BEDS WERE CLEAN AND FINE. TV WORKED. I WOULD NOT LET MY GRANDCHILDREN TAKE A SHOWER IN THE DISCUSTING LOOKING TUB. I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL YEARS AGO WITH A PLEASANT STAY. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE RETURN OF A NICE FACILITY AS IT ONCE WAS.

Bad dream
Plain bad experience- room needs a makeover and needs to be kept up. The spider webs need to be removed. Walls need to be painted. Furniture cleaned. Tub had enamel scraped out.

after a horrible stay on July 4th, I was forced to return as I already had reservations. After upgrading to a "superior" room in hopes of finding comfort... I did get a newly renovated (In the past 20 years, but far better than the rest of the property) room. I was comfortable.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It stunk, the bathroom sink leaked every time you turned it on, the AC didn't work, when they finally did come clean the room they took our towels and we had to call over and over again with no answer from our room phone we had to use our cell phone to call in and get a answer then we had to wait almost 2 hours for them to bring them. We got 2 towels and 1 wash rag for 4 people. The swimming pool was dirty. For the money we paid I feel we got ripped off. Don't stay here its nothing like it shows and says on the internet.

I don't think my opinion or experience is relevant as it turns out this entire property is scheduled to close on or around 08-12-17. The entire property is to my understanding going to be demolished so that a Christian Retreat can be built on the property.

My stay at Mission Valley Resorts was horrible, the room was disgusting. The website is completely misleading and I will never stay here again. The cleaning people would clean the room leaving us with no towels, there was no way to get ice because all machines were broken. The door to our room was broken we had to ram into it to open it everytime we needed to go in. The overall experience in the hotel was terrible. I complained and they said I could leave, which than I would have no where to stay for the remainder of our trip. Terrible.

Good stay but with some hiccups
The hotel looks great aesthetically from the outside, but the hotel rooms are not as presentable. I had trouble with the lobby about payment issues and room service kept forgetting to give us towels. The area it's located in is great and can literally get to anywhere in San Diego with relative ease. Overall it was a good stay but beware of the lobby messing up your payment and room service not giving you towels.

Terrible Hotel, don't consider or even think about
Terrible Hotel, dirty hallways and doors, broken closets, leaking sinks, stinky carpets, non working TV, unfriendly staff and not willing to help. My bathroom had many ants !!!. The only reason we competed our stay with them the fact that we were out almost 18 hours a day. Don't even think about it even if they are giving you the room for free !!!!

False Advertisement Low Income Hotel Section 8
The pictures online look amazing and it is labeled as a "resort". Come to find out this "resort" also offers section 8 hotel rooms. This is a huge complex and they have many buildings. We were put in the oldest building, furthest away from the working pool, ice machines, soda machines or any other kind of amenity. The bathroom light was broken and stayed on all the time, no attempt to fix it even though we told management. The room light didn't turn at all. Ants + other bugs in the room constantly. Window broken and didn't close all the way. House keeping came as they pleased, not when needed. We got the pleasure of being in the most run down complex they have where their old pool is filled with dirt and has tons of weeds growing. When expressing our concern that we wanted a better room, management said those are "premium rooms" as they are bigger and have a balcony. Well I dont care about a balcony but, I am paying customer and this is false advertisement. They stated they could simply refund our money and we could stay elsewhere! What a solution, because you know how cheap hotel rooms are when you book the same day! There was just overall disappointment after disappointment with this place. We will not be returning, your better off to stay at the motel 8 down the street. At least there rooms have modern beds and working fixtures.

this place is run down amd needs help
terrible. tub would not drain water, had a repair guy out to fix it, still didnt drain. wasnt nice to shower ankle deep in water from previous persons shower. after room was cleaned, they did not leave any towels in the room, i tried to call front desk, after a minute of phone ringing they never answered, so i had to walk to front desk to ask for towels. not sure why they did not answer phone, lobby was completely empty. beds were really old and you will just sink down into it when you get on it. a lot of stuff was broken and run down. overall room was terrible. tv wasnt even flat screen, it was an old crt tv, cant even remember when i seen an old crt tv. biggest problem with tv was when you turn it on, all you see is that s owy picture amd its tuned to channel 22. those old tvs need to be tuned to channel 3, like using a vcr to watch cable. i had to manually press the buttons on the tv to get it to channel 3 so i can then use the cable remote to watch anything. i will not be staying there again!

The hotel was dirty, grimy, gross. Reception desk told us they were closing down in a matter of days and were doing demolition. Photos on the website for the hotel and hotels.com were deceiving

Visit USA most years. Worst place we have stayed. Very run down. First room offered was so dirty you could not see the old tv for the dirt the curtains were badly torn. Two pillows for two beds no towells and shower broken. We just new even before we got into the room. Complained and got moved to a slightly better room but still not great. Could not use the old furniture as there was not one handle on the three drawers. I could go on but you get the jist. Also shop next door no prices. Go to the Clean shop to the right products all priced. Hope this helps. We would of moved only ours was in a package deal. If I was to talk about the pool or facilities I would be here all day.

We wanted a cheap place to stay before flying out at 6:00 am. We spent less than 6 hrs there but didn't feel that it was clean or even safe.

Not what is advertised.
This hotel is affordable, but not as nice as the pictures seem. The pool is filled in with dirt, light bulbs were missing in the room, the walls were dirty and there were ants in the bathroom. The air conditioner was leaking outside our room So it smelled weird when it ran.

I thought the room a bit small but adequate 2 or 3 upgrades will improve this place, 1 ditch the IRV TV's get flat screen's 2 a mini fridge would be wonderful and 2 lay down laminate get rid of the old carp[et, cleaner and easier to maintain

We were greeted by a not too friendly front desk person. Stood in line for a few minutes without being acknowledged. The wifi never worked. The rooms are old.. never staying here again. Not worth the $161.00 we paid

The bathroom was in bad shape. The on-site restaurant was closing permanently in one week, so they did not have a lot of things on hand. Considering the on-site restaurant was one of the reasons we chose the place, this was very disappointing.

Good location and facilities but disappointing.
We had to queue for about 15 minutes to check in with only one person on the front desk. When we then got to our room it hadn't been cleaned. There were wet dirty towels on the floor, the bins hadn't been emptied and the bedsheets not changed. After queuing again to complain we were given another room which was clean. The rooms are adequate but nothing fancy, there was an old TV which was faulty and we had to phone the front desk twice before someone came and sorted it out. The location is very good, close to most of what San Diego has to offer and the restaurant is good for breakfast and there is a bar at the resort. The pool was also a bit dirty but otherwise ok. This resort has a lot of potential with the location and facilities it just needs some money spending to modernise the rooms and employ an extra person on the front desk.

Waste of Money!!!
We spent 2 nights, upon arrival the grounds were very pretty with all the different trees and greenery. But once we got into our room we were very disappointed, it had a musty smell to it. The AC did not work properly the temp dial was broken, the seal on the front door was gone so you could see through the gap. A lot of homeless people roaming around the doors to the rooms at night, and rummaging through the garbage in the mornings. Ice machine is broken and apparently has been for quite some time about 1 year, so you have to go to the lobby and get ice out of an ice chest. My biggest complaint is my daughter woke up on our last day there and found a dead sun spider in her bed were she had been laying, then went into the restroom to find 2 more spiders that fell off the shower curtain. I told the lady at the front desk about what we had found I even took pictures, all she told me was to contact Hotels.com and they can contact the hotel management to get a refund, which I did. According to the management I am not entitled a refund because we completed our stay there, well it was the last day our stay when we discovered all the spiders. If it had been the first day we would have went to a different hotel. Plus I had to pay a $100 security deposit and was supposed to get it back on the day of check out and I still haven't received it. I will never stay at this place again

Hotel is close to a lot of attractions.
The hotel is in a tourist zone (hotel zone). The hotel is under construction, the grass looked as if it hadn't been mowed in a couple of weeks. The people riding their bikes around the around were scary looking. Their beds are very comfortable, their carpet is old, their TVs only offered one channel (I was traveling with a one year old and 8 year old so TV was crucial for their entertainment)
