Thank you for your review and for re-booking Cabo Hermosa for next summer. We have updated the check-in instructions according to your comments. There was another set of guests arriving the afternoon you departed, so starting a load of towels before leaving is very helpful for our cleaners. There is a lot of work that needs to be done on same-day change overs and the laundry is usually our bottleneck. The house was unlocked and open to your group at 3 pm, as according to the check-in time. The welcome tour is mainly to show the house and answer any questions your group may have. We like to give it right away, but it is not required for you to have access to the house. Again, thank you for your thoughtful review and we look forward to seeing you again next summer.

Thank you for your review for Cabo Hermosa. Yes, Cabo Hermosa is a two-story residence with the bedrooms upstairs and the living area downstairs, which is shown in the many photos of the house. If your group includes a disabled or mobility challenged guest that could not walk up stairs, we do have one-story homes, like our Villa Mar Vista property, to accommodate your needs. Keeping the home in top condition is why we will always offer to pick up excess trash as soon as our guests inform us of the issue. Unlike a hotel, Cabo Hermosa is a large house with a lot to clean for the next guests. We ask some simple favors, such as if furniture or chairs are moved, that they are returned to their original location, putting your final dishes in the dishwasher and starting the first load of towels. These are common departure items for short term rental homes. That said, we do not penalize our guests if they choose not to do any of these departure items. There is a lot for our cleaning crew to do between guest groups, but they are able to do an amazing job getting the home spotless for the next guests.
