“We spent a week here and loved the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also took some of the cooking classes which were excellent. It's an easy walk to the main plazas and there are a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It's a little oasis of quiet and comfort in a vibrant and fascinating city. The self-service honor bar is also a really nice amenity and the breakfasts were wonderful. ”

“Excellent hotel, especially for the price point. The hotel entrance itself is quite discreet, making it hard to initially find but it adds to the feeling of security and privacy. There is a fridge stocked with water that is always welcome on warm days, a terrace with some plants and a decent view. “Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofi for your trip to Oaxaca. Excellent host that greeted us with the best tasting Mezcal. The room is very comfortable and the property is centrally located to everything. The grounds itself is very clean and safe. There is a communal kitchen that has everything to prepare a meal or store your leftovers in the refrigerator. Can’t wait to go back. ”

“This hotel is in a slightly more upscale part of town compared to the Centro. The room with the street view gets some traffic noise in the morning, but not too much. Service was excellent!”
