The location was perfect, the attention/helpfulness from staff re: parking, places to eat, laundry services, etc. excellent, and the ambiance very cool (13th century and all that). We had a charming courtyard, a full kitchen (although we were expected to not eat in the apartment), and a reasonably comfortable bed.
There seemed to be a problem with mold, though; we should have been suspicious when the windows were open and a large fan running when we arrived. It was unmistakable in the bathroom, where the toilet and shower were only separated by a temporary screen (and the shower drain was in the middle of the bathroom floor, which of course became dangerously wet after each shower). We also noticed that items in the room were moved around when we weren't "home," which definitely made us uncomfortable.
