“È già il secondo anno che andiamo a trascorrere il ferragosto a Vallombrosa per sfuggire al caldo di Firenze. L’albergo è molto accogliente e davanti all’abbazia oltre ai principali sentieri da percorrere. Il personale è molto accogliente.”
“Second time we visited the villa - still as nice as nine years ago! Had a room with a view over the valley and it is really stunning. The rooms can vary a lot in size but the same standard i think. Ok breakfast - missed a barista for making coffee though. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. Nice ground with a small pool with sun chairs. Towels can be borrowed in reception. Great place to stay for excursions to chianti area as well as Firenze.”
“Excellent staff!! My wife and I were there for a week. Very friendly, attentive and professional staff. Great facilities and dining! Very quiet, and calm. Definitely get a SUV car-the last km or so is unpaved roads-quite a drive but so worth it when you get to the property! Hope to be back.”

“Loved it! Super helpful at check-in telling us about everything that was available. We wrote horses for two hours at a very affordable price. The restaurant on site was was good and breakfast was wonderful. Hiking trails and views were amazing. Would definitely stay again. Nearest grocery and shopping were only about 15 minutes away in montevechi.”

“We got upgraded and the room was fanastic and rustic. friendly straff, environment and service was great. The only complain we have is the more simple restaurant, La Cantina, that didn't live up to any italian culinary experience at all. The food we had was very tasteless and lacked sign of creativity and the wine the served us was waaay to warm. My husband is a sommelier himself and we have visited several fine dining restaurants over the world and have to say that we expected more from this...
“If you’re looking for something special this is it! Very nice hotel, rooms of high standard, typical italian stonehouse, surrounded by vineyards. Breathtaking views. Pool a few steps away. Excellent service by Giovanni, manager.
The only downside: It would have been nice with a restaurant beside the breakfast.

"It is a former nobel family’s villa.
Wonderful restorated for 40 years ago by a doctor who baught it.
Meny different areas to sit at outdoor and indoor.
The rooms was in perfect condition.
The staf very friendly.
The Villa is so what you want to have when visiting Tuscany.
It is just at the edge of the City Figline Valdarno.
So you can go out for dinner if you don’t use the hotels restaurant wich was good.
The breakfast was standard but okay and had everything you want for breakfast.
The have two pools, one indoor with sunbeds outside in the hotel area and an outdoor pool on the other side of the street on a hill.
We loved the hotel because it was very nice decorated."
"This place has so much potential as it has a beautiful view and the surroundings with the gardens are beautiful but that's also the only positive experience.
The service is terrible and the people working there are rude. There is breakfast but no options for lunch at the hotel which is somewhat irritating as there are no restaurants close by. The rooms where extremely outdated and smell terribly of mold. It stuck on my clothes despite washing for some time after.The dinner was probably the worst I've ever had through all the times I've been to Italy. One of the dishes was not even edible and the rest underwhelming at best.
The main reason we chose this hotel was the horse farm and the possibility to go horse riding. When we arrived it was not possible to book any horse riding for any of the days we were there despite it literally being one of the activities listed for the hotel. When we talked to the receptionist the girl working there was literally rude about it as if it was our fault that we had not looked it up in advance to know that the horse farm is actually seperately run and not by the hotel. Information that should have gotten when we booked.
I would not go back as there are plenty of beautiful places in Tuscany so having only a nice view is not cutting it."
