WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN IT

Two real bedrooms, not a bedroom and a nook. The primary has a California King; the second has a Full. A convertible sofa in the great room takes you to six if you need it. The bathroom has a deep soaking tub with a rainfall shower over it — the thing people on long assignments tell us they miss most.

The great room is where this place stops being a normal rental. There's a home theater setup, a sound system, and a piano. Play it. Nobody is going to mind — the nearest shared wall is a different building.

Off the kitchen: quartz counters, an island, a full-size French-door fridge, an induction cooktop, a dishwasher, and a dining table that seats six and extends to eight. There's a real desk with an ergonomic chair, a printer, and a hardwired gigabit ethernet drop next to the Wi-Fi 7 — because "fast wifi" and "wifi that holds a two-hour video call" are different claims and we make the second one.

Outside, the patio is private: a gas grill with the propane already filled, a fire pit, a hammock, sun loungers, and an herb bed — basil, rosemary, mint, thyme — that you're welcome to raid. There's exercise equipment on site, so you can skip the drop-in gym fees. Beach gear for Santa Cruz, which is fifty minutes away.

THE HONEST PART

The washer and dryer are NOT in the unit. They're in a self-service laundry room in the basement, shared with the smaller unit at the rear, and there are twenty stairs down to it. Detergent is provided. We'd rather you knew that now than found out on day one.

Parking is free, off-street, on the front pavers — one space per unit, plus a Level 2 J1772 EV charger on the front wall, free for every stay, first-come. Unit A's space is double-width, which makes it genuinely usable if you need the room to get in and out of a vehicle.

WHO WE ARE

I'm Enoch. I'm a physician at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and I've spent three decades in emergency medicine and urgent care. I know what it is to land in a new city with a badge, a schedule, and no idea where to buy groceries.

So we do more than hand over a door code. Short stays get the infrastructure — keyless entry, real fiber, the EV charger, an e-scooter, and a text reply from me the same day. Stays over a week add the concierge layer: restaurant bookings at Pesticos and Adega, both walkable; Yosemite advice that will save you a wasted morning; grocery and package handling. Stays over thirty days get a welcome call, mail handling, and enough flexibility on extensions that you won't have to move twice. Childcare can be arranged for an additional fee if you need it — just ask before you book.

WHERE IT IS

Little Portugal / Five Wounds, an old, quiet, Portuguese-American pocket of east San Jose. Slow streets and mature trees inside the block; 101, 280 and 880 all within ten minutes of it.

Pesticos, which has a Michelin star, is four blocks away. Adega is walkable. So is the best birria in the Bay, which is not a claim I make lightly.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

4:00 PM / 10:00 AM. Self check-in with a smart lock; the code arrives 48 hours ahead. There is a Ring doorbell at the entrance and a noise monitor in the common area — no cameras inside, ever.

Unit B, the smaller 1-bedroom suite at the rear, is a separate listing. If you're a group of six or more, book both and message us — we'll line up the check-in times.

Rates are dynamic and long stays are discounted. Ask about 30+ nights; that's what this place is built for.
