Very unpleasant check in. 2 people in front of me were complaining of having roaches, bed bugs, and other critters in their room. Not what you want to hear as you are waiting to check in.

I understand pet friendly hotels. Me being a pet parent .But poor dog was crying at 11pm at night. First noise I heard when I walked in to check in. The property and rooms have a bad order. Differently will not be booking at this site. First and last time.

The whole hotel stinks. It is very old run down interior, smells very bad inside the building. The reception has no staff on most of the time. They shouldn’t announce as breakfast, more like snack table because it’s just muffin, protein bar and coffee. The only positive thing is it has full kitchen and big fridge. The location is far from restaurants and malls.

Never the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at horrible service dirtiest rooms. The building was dirty. It was a dirty sock under our bed that was cockroaches in the room. Family members had other rooms were just the same or even dirtier. One of the rooms had blood stains on the walls, and on the curtains cockroaches the floors were dirty, like if they were never swept, horrible all around never again-5 stars

I frequent extended stay locations for my work. This location was a little less than desirable. We ran into some roaches in the room and the kitchen sink did not drain very well. The staff was nice enough and we were in the third floor so it was quiet in the evening.

Our stay at Extended Stay America Suites hotel in San Jose CA was the worst ever. We reserved 10 rooms and they were filthy dirty. Infested with roaches, dirty linen, walls and curtains full of blood and restroom sinks and tubs with mole. Some of us had to request a different room and others left to a different hotel. In short, never again would I book a stay in this hotels!!

Front desk told us it was a refugee site there were kids riding bikes in the hallways. Families taking hotel furniture out in the parking lot and having a full on meal causing kids to get close to be hit by other paying patrons trying to park. People sneaking people in through windows. Chaos all hours of the night when I spoke to the front desk clerk he said this is how it is for months it’s refugee site. I contacted main customer service to be placed elsewhere for my reservation stay. I spoke directly to edenvale manager jareev who stated the employee never wrote down a incident complaint in their log held at the front desk. I have a service animal and the kids riding through on bikes taunted my service animal with their bikes and scooters. Doors to other rooms were being held open by towels which allowed more than the recommended occupancy to enter a single room. My refund is still not showing in my account I had to relocate from San Jose to Morgan hill to enjoy a stay. My service animal who is a well trained pitbull was leashed at all times. There were dogs of all breeds not leashed and left alone in rooms with signs that said be back in two hours leaving behind their crying dogs. This place has turned to trash since the last time I stayed there prior to Covid outbreak in 2020

I did not stay at the Extended Stay. The check in clerk was rude and did not know his job as far as atm charges and cancellation. I am disable and I felt insulted when he asked me to come back at 7pm , when I had already made two trips bcus they don’t except cash only creditcards.

Towels, what’s that?
Right from the start it began bad. First, they don’t tell you that there is a north one and a south extended stay one has a pool and a gym one doesn’t I book the one that I thought had the pool in the gym but that was not the case and even though they’re right next to each other, they do not interact together.. when my boyfriend went to take a shower, we had no towels when I went up to the desk and asked about them I was told to check back in 20 minutes they were in the dryer! so after 40 minutes and still no towels, I went up and asked for them again only to be looked at like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Why did I need towels? they do not provide any kind of toiletries whatsoever. As far as their free breakfast goes if you don’t mind brown water for coffee and the worst mini muffins you could taste then you’ll be happy with your breakfast I would never ever recommend staying here.!

Will not be staying at this hotel again.
Great price and convenient location within a half mile of both 101 and 85. No frills but I didn’t need any. Everything was satisfactory until I was lying in bed in the morning and in the corner of my eye I saw a cockroach running across the nightstand next to me. Luckily I had a bottle of water on the nightstand too and was able to grab it quickly enough to smoosh the uninvited visitor. Needless to say I immediately jumped out of bed and started getting dressed. When I told the attendant at the front desk and asked for some kind of credit or refund, even partial, I was told that I was already paying a discounted price through Hotels.com but that they would check with their manager to see if they could give me a $20 or $30 refund and then get back to me. I never heard back or saw any refund in my bank account.
