Staying here, I feel as though I am teetering on the cusp of escapism, floating just above the everyday world, with the city's hum softened beneath me. Perhaps it is the bungalow's structure—a place where space and air meet, where rooftops feel like thresholds to a larger world—that allows guests to explore, yet still return to a calm, curated atmosphere.
There’s something evocative, almost nostalgic, about the amenities that greet you upon arrival. High-speed internet, air conditioning, and a television, reminders of home comforts, act as anchors in a foreign land, ensuring you do not stray too far into a sense of dislocation. Yet, here in Escazú’s vibrant district, every detail remains attuned to the essence of place.
