Smelled like dogs. Pictures are nicer than it is. They cover all mattress with plastic.
I would not stay here again. Plus the neighborhood was concerning.

Not what it seems
Nice pictures do not tell the story of this place, extremely tough S San Jose neighborhood, overcrowded streets, rowdy neighbors and a general tension not easily remedied. Owner was on site both days we were there doing random things, so privacy was non existent. House was acceptable, but linens and pillows were sub par. Neighbors were gathered in front yard all night carrying on and other neighbor was drinking heavily while parked in his car in his driveway. Trash on the streets, abandoned cars..next time I'll pay a little more for a place..you get what you pay for rings true with this one.

Family Fun Times!
The home owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. Most Home Away rentals only provide bare necessities in paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, but this owner made sure we had plenty for all week, which was a nice surprise. We cooked at "home" quite a bit, and the only thing missing was a casserole dish for the oven. The home is in a busy neighborhood, but set off the street a little, so we were never bothered by traffic or neighbors, and the yard with pool was very private and protected. The pool was clean and well-kept and a great feature to our vacation. Thanks for lettingus enjoy your home! Sharon Ream

Read this review Please!
This property on the surface is as stated on the website. Upon arrival to the neighborhood, parked cars were everywhere on the street, not the best neighborhood. Furniture was dusty , a coffee filter had not been changed in so long, we couldn’t recognize the coffee grains covered in mold. Much worse was sitting in the living room and a roach crawls across my friend. We discovered roach traps throughout the home. I emailed the owner about my group going to a hotel, he took 5 hrs to respond, it was too late to find a room elsewhere. I do not understand all the 5 star reviews on this property, I can’t imagine someone traveling and spending their hard earned money on this substandard place and giving it such high marks. I’m suspicious of these reviews. Finally, I will never go back to this property. Beware.

Hi Anna, Thank you for your review and sorry for the experience you had. I would like to reinforce you that when you book with online platforms, you will live in other people's houses. We are cheaper than hotels or resorts and we also provide kitchens, cooking items, etc... You should understand our cleaners have a lot of work and sometimes things are overlooked. We are not only doing business with HomeAway but also with other platforms and we have a lot of good reviews. Our guests' satisfaction is our top priority, so after guests check in we will check with guests if they are satisfied. I also offered you a refund if you leave the premise by the time we set, but it seemed you wanted to stay and receive a refund, that was not possible. Once again sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your stay at my home.

Clean Place, Communication was great, Noisy Neighbors
Went for a graduation at UCSC and found it to be a great location (driving wise). Some of the neighbors sounded like they had a party and were a bit rowdy. Good place for the price!

Son’s college graduation
Perfect house to stay for my son’s graduation, it was nice and clean. Owner Responded to any angry or question I had about the property right away it wasn’t perfect but it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it . It was conveniently located 11 miles from the San Jose airport .

Thu Hien replied my questions responsively and patiently and she was attentive to my concerns during my stay. The house was in good shape. I enjoy the living area, a full kitchen and a nice pool. I will be back if I travel to Bay Area again.

The property was nice. It was clean and had a large kitchen with a nice intimate backyard.
We overall were happy with the house itself. The street was very crowded with cars so I am thankful they had a driveway. The house was clean and the kitchen was large and had everything we needed to cook. The dishwasher is deadly though. The door springs are broken so when my husband opened the door it fell hard on his foot. A warning would have been nice. We found many hairs on our sheets in all 3 rooms and the pillows are so flat and worn. I asked about the bedding being cleaned and was told they were cleaned and the hairs must have been from the cleaners head, but either way the quality of the sheets were very poor. I asked to access the washer and dryer so I could clean them but they declined so I had to go out and spend extra money on bedding and pillows for our stay which I was extremely unhappy about. We also were given 3 check out times. When I booked the check out was 1 and when I got the confirmation it said 12, So i messaged to ask which one it was and was told 12. Then when we got the message to remind us of check out it said 11am. I messaged to ask and was told to please check out by 11am. Good thing we had somewhere to be anyway. Other than the bedding, dishwasher, and checkout times our stay was good.
