I really wanted to like this place, but it was honestly a disappointing stay. The listing is misleading—this is not a “brisk walk” to the beach, and the beach itself didn’t feel safe or well-kept. The property is in a gated community with only one entrance/exit, so without a car you’re walking very far just to get anywhere.
Cleanliness was a big issue. The sink hadn’t been cleaned, there was dark sand in the bathroom, the bathtub had black dirt in it, and the balcony wasn’t wiped down. The pool also had visible algae, so it wasn’t usable.
The amenities were frustrating. The water would get hot but turn cold quickly. The oven and microwave were hard to use, and instead of clear instructions, the host left confusing “riddle-like” directions.
This is also not a couples retreat as advertised—there were kids screaming outside the room until around 2 AM. There were also baby chicks wandering around, some clearly not okay, which was upsetting to witness.
Communication was nonexistent. We reached out multiple times and never got a response. It felt like once they had our money, that was it. Overall, very disappointing and needs major improvement.
