“Ups: Beautiful, old buildings with murals surrounded by all kinds of flowers and trees. The place feels very secure. Great breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, gallo pinto, bread etc. Downs: They were supposed to provide kitchenware but it was not enough to actually cook for a family. Our room was neglected and the shower was not a pleasure to use. The pool was super cold and a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures but they do have a jacuzzi that was great!”

“This house was so beautiful with wide open spaces downstairs. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had what we needed to make a quick breakfast. Outside was a refreshing pool and the grounds were stunning. The massive beach was only a few meters away and the sunsets were breathtaking. Communication with the host was easy and Lucy was absolutely delightful! ”

“This house in the jungle was a highlight of our tour throughout the country. It was more than just a home we stayed at- it was a jungle experience. We loved the private waterfall and the tour through the property. We ended up canceling our plans one day to hang out more there on the property. The host and guide were wonderful to work with. ”

“We had the most incredible stay at Villa Marbella. Camilo was so helpful leading up to the trip, he answered countless emails, helped set up excursions, had rental cars waiting for us, and a private chef. “We had an incredible time unplugging and relaxing at this beautiful villa. Maria was fantastic; her communication and support throughout our stay were outstanding. “Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?”
