“Lovely ”

“Overall, this is a decent hotel with a good location. The room was spacious and featured a gas fireplace, which added a nice touch. We also had access to a small private backyard/patio area, which made the stay feel more unique and enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located, and the property itself is attractive and interesting. However, the parking fee was almost $40 per night, which felt excessive. “The fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night, the alarm was faulty. No restaurant, but we paid top prices for sub par food on paper plates 😬. Waterside was out of order. Not a pleasant stay!”

“This property is older than some, but very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that it is right by the river is an added bonus. The sitting area outside by the river with the hot tub is peaceful and relaxing. The hairdryer in my room did not work, and there was no soap in the shower. Also, the TV was very confusing to operate. In spite of these things I loved staying there and would again.”

“The room smelled badly and really needs updating (mold in shower, sheets didn’t fit the bed and no room service throughout our stay. It may work for those who really want to “rough it,”. The hot tubs were slimmy and had a lot of bugs and mysterious “floaters.””
