  • Villa Diamond offers a spacious sanctuary in a private setting a few miles from the bustling town of San Pedro. This spacious villa is perfect for families or couples traveling together. The interior of the villa is filled with Central American antique armoires, Mexican tiles, Guatemalan fabrics and Belizean artwork surrounding you with the unique treasures of this region.

    The villa comfortably sleeps 8 guests - there are 4 spacious suites, each with a private bathroom. Additionally, there are two powder rooms. The 3rd floor master suite boasts two sun decks from which to view the sunrise and sunset. The middle floor guest suite has a screened-in exterior porch complete with hammock. The two ground floor suites have access to their own private balconies. Sleep with the sea breezes washing over you and let the sun and morning air gently awaken you. Ease into the morning with coffee on the expansive deck overlooking the tropical grounds and emerald waters of the Caribbean. Wi Fi is available throughout the villa and cable TV is available. Each room has a fan and air conditioner for your comfort.

    Spend a lazy day at the pool just steps away from the villa or enjoy a private sunbath or sunset view on one of the two upper decks. Several top restaurants are minutes away by foot or golf cart or let us arrange a private local chef to prepare dinner in your fully equipped kitchen. Our concierge would also be delighted to organize massages or yoga classes in the villa or on the dock, or, with our partners, an amazing Belizean adventure such as scuba diving, snorkeling or touring Mayan ruins.

    Kayaks are also available so that you can explore the worlds' second largest coral reef just minutes from our shoreline. San Pedro Town is easily accessed by golf cart, cab or private water taxi.

This house was beautiful and spacious! The pool was just steps away from our front door and the ocean view was spectacular! Star and all staff on site were super responsive with anything we needed and were very helpful and accommodating in assisting us with setting up excursions. We hope to come back some day to stay again at this beautiful property.

Absolutely Stunning!!!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this space!! Perfect place for a large group. Comfortable. Layout was perfect. Plenty of room. Stunning views!! Everything was set up for just what we needed. We had transportation to and from, golf cart rental, and excursions. We plan to make this an annual adventure. We just left today and we already miss everything.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The units and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better on those two fronts.My only minor complaint is the location is VERY remote. It was difficult to get groceries or go downtown. A golf cart is a NECESSITY!!!But overall, very pleased with my stay. Thank you!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Perla. Everyone on property was extremely nice and accommodating and our villa was clean and spacious. The only downside was that we were a bit further from town. However, we were close to Secret Beach and spent a couple of days there. We enjoyed taking the golf carts to town when we wanted to go. We had one small child with us, and the staff at La Perla went out of their way to make sure he was having fun (brought him beach toys, coconuts, etc.) We certainly plan to be back!

La Perla was a lovely place to stay in Ambergris Caye! The villas were beautiful and spacious, and I especially loved the interior design and decorating. It was minimalistic, but still inviting and not lacking in character or color. A/C also worked wonderfully, which was a huge plus for me. Star, one of the office staff, is wonderful and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay.The villa offers booking of third-party services such as a private chef, pantry stocking, massages, taxi or boat from the main water taxi ports to the resort, and one day during our stay, there was a bartender serving drinks by the pool. For me, the only downsides to staying here are that it is about a 25 minute golf cart drive to more populated areas of the town and about 15 minutes of that drive, the roads are unpaved and extremely bumpy/uneven. Additionally, we had a very poor experience with the golf cart company that works with the villa. There were several technical issues with the carts, leading to us switching carts 6 different times over a 4-day period, which resulted in us having to cancel plans due to delays. If you book this villa, I would strongly advise booking your own golf cart rental, rather than booking one through the villa. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here! The only reason I wouldn’t return is bc of how far out it is and the condition of the road. If the road was paved the entire way, I would certainly consider staying here again.

Amazing place & spectacular service makes La Perla one of a kind

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of five adults and three teens visited Villa Diamond in late December 2023. Our entire stay was made stress free by the amazing service provided by Michaela and her staff. They took care of our every need: from taking care of simple chores, to booking the golf carts, and assisting with making reservations to all the activities that Ambergris Caye had to offer. You really don't have to worry about anything when you stay at La Perla! Thank you Michaela!With a spectacular view of the Sea and easy access to the pool, Villa Diamond is perfectly situated on the property! The place was very spacious, clean, and airy! We thoroughly enjoyed every room and the spacious deck.We made full use of the complementary kayaks available at the property. We snorkeled Hol Chan and Shark-Ray alley, scuba dived at Mexico Rocks, enjoyed jet skiing at the Secret Beach, dinner at the Truck Stop, and a trip to Caye Caulker which included tarpon feeding and letting sting rays swim over our feet on the beach. Overall it was an unforgettable experience!La Perla's location, about 5 miles North of San Pedro town, was ideal for our family. We were able to go for a run on the unpaved, sparsely travelled road which would not have been possible in or near San Pedro town. There are several restaurants minutes away. Secret Beach and The Truck Stop are only a 20 minute golf cart ride. There is a small grocery store called Winey Gringa just minutes away from La Perla where we were able to get most of what we needed. If you are visiting Ambergris Caye, I highly recommend this property.
