When we immediately talked to the reception about that they sent some kind of manager who just wiped the kitchen counter. But the crumbles all over the floor and the dirty bath tub wasn’t taken care of. We complained about this lack of cleaning two times after that and all they did was to make the bed, 24 hours after we checked in. ”

Only minus was there were no cutlery in the kitchen, luckily I brought some plastic ones from home, along with my frying pan, there were no pots and pans either. No dish soap so I had to buy some, along with sponges.

They even allowed me to park my 20-ft utility trailer and the gentleman that checked me in said he’d keep an eye on it personally and with the security cameras. “We stayed in the Merlot 1 BR cabin, with a queen bed in the living area. Nicely renovated and well-appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great lake views. Couch is not really suitable for sleeping on - maybe child under 8. Kayaking was nice. Linens were clean and in great condition. Patrons were friendly, kind and helpful. Fire area was great. Amazing access to the dunes. They are fixing up the place and doing a good job. That retaining wall is gonna be a big one. ”
