  • Boasting what is quite possibly the best location on Schweitzer Mountain, this three-level townhome sits just above the village with fantastic, ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes. Enjoy spectacular views of the mountain, the valley, and Lake Pend Oreille down below, as well as a private hot tub and an in-home sauna to help you unwind from your adventures.

    This townhouse is located in a high-end neighborhood of newer homes just above Schweitzer Village, allowing you to ski or walk to the Basin Express Quad Lift each morning and ski home in the afternoons. Leave your gear hanging in the garage as you step inside, where you'll be welcomed by such conveniences as free WiFi and in-home laundry.

    The main living room features a pair of sofas that are warmed by a gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and amazing views of the surrounding mountain landscape. If you're not making the easy walk into the village at night, you can make yourself at home in the beautiful kitchen amid richly hued wood cabinetry, top-notch stainless steel appliances (including a gas range, a French-door refrigerator, and a wine fridge), and an island with bar seats for three. The sleek dining room table seats eight more, with the adjacent sliding doors leading outside to a balcony overlooking the gorgeous alpine scene.

    At night, you can retreat to the hot tub, the sauna, or the second living area - a great place to play a board game or watch movies on another flatscreen TV. When it's time to turn in, there are four bedrooms to choose from. These include two main bedroom suites - one on the upper level with views of the lake, and another on the lower level with enviable privacy and access to the hot tub.

Great house at an awesome ski resort, in a great location. We stayed for our annual guys ski trip. The house itself was perfect, and arguably has one of the best hot tub views we have ever had. Hosted by Vacasa, which means any issues are addressed same day. We were short on some glassware and Vacasa local agent dropped off new items within 6 hours. Hard to beat that. Ski in / out was right there, maybe a 20 yard walk from the garage to the access point. Speaking of the garage...the owner has wisely converted it to an equipment room, with ski racks, boot dryers and a couch. Smart and very useful. Overall a great home.

Location

Fantastic location with easy access to the village and lifts. Easy ski-in makes for nice lunch away from the crowds. Sauna and hot tub were great after a hard day in the slopes.

Great ski in ski out location, and the view could not be any more stunning. We loved our stay here, easy stroll to the village and the heated drive and roadway makes it really easy. Will book again.

Location can’t be beat. Garage for storing ski supplies and getting ready for the slopes is unmatched. Comfortable beds, plenty of room to spread out and a sauna/hot tub was a perfect way to end the day!

Great place for skiing

We had an amazing stay. Ski in/out was perfect. The house is the second to last house on a dead end road. The end of the road is where you can hop on a ski trail straight to the main lifts. The hot tub and sauna were perfect after a day of skiing. Happened to have a great few days of skiing was great powder.

Peaceful Paradise in The Mountains!

Excellent stay ! would definitely recommend! Only feedback is it's extreeeeeemely hot even with the fans on (29 in the room) so I really recommend the hosts consider portable AC'd for the bedrooms or a central AC system. In the summer it's hottttt lol!

Great house!

This is a great house! Large living room with room for everyone. Nice lower lever with extra living room. Very high end. Loved the hot tub and sauna, so unique. The garage was necessary as it snowed a lot and it saved our car! We enjoyed our stay!

This was a beautiful, spacious place. My only issue is that Vacasa sent me generic responses when I asked questions. Then told me check-out instructions would be given the day before check-out….this message came to me on the day before check-out and no further message was sent to me.

To begin, the location is incredible. Hard to beat. True ski in ski out. However, Vacasa is where this all turns sour. The policy regarding what they provide (starter kit) makes no sense given the size of house and group. To provide 2 portions of dishwasher detergents for a 10 person home with a 4 night stay and refuse any additional is subpar. The overall lack of care in cleaning was quite noticeable. Dust covered many surfaces, 2 pairs of adult underwear were found in the kid’s room. The water filter in the refrigerator had a big red warning that it had been expired for 3 years! Very concerning given the water quality warning in the owner binder we found. Then, the true lack of care could be found in the 7 lightbulbs that were out in the house. After they dropped off lightbulbs for us to do the work of replacing, we changed 6 but couldn’t access the 7th without a ladder. I can only assume the owner is unaware of these issues because as a family who has rented homes of our own, we would never allow this. Vacasa made it clear that they will do the bare minimum. We will avoid them going forward.

Great ski in and out unit. Housekeeping wasn’t done upon arrival, dry sauna , and gas fireplace didn’t work and could use a couple more dishes. Would prob rent there again

Simply loved it!!!

We were at Schweitzer to ski and this property sits right on a ski trail that drops you into the village. With both a sauna and a hot tub to recuperate the muscles we were ready to maximize our time on the slopes. Simply loved it!

Beautiful home in great location, missing a few amenities

We had a lovely stay over five nights in Schweitzer! The home is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. We loved sitting by the cozy fire in the living room and looking out over the gorgeous view. There are a few amenities and details that could have made our stay even better. The cleanliness of the home was okay. When we arrived there was some garbage on the floor in the kitchen, and we also found a half-eaten muffin and empty bottle under the downstairs sofa. There were some basic things missing from the home that we would have expected to have. For example, there was only one wine glass, one nearly-empty box of Kleenex, no hair dryer, the wrong type of coffee filters for the coffee maker, only 12 hangers in the entire house. We also found it odd that 3 of the 4 bedrooms did not have any dressers or furniture for unpacking clothes. There was no place to hang towels in the master bathroom. It would also be great to have some information about the area, such as how to access the lifts and restaurants. I did call Vacasa on the first day and asked for a hair dryer and Kleenex. I was told that someone would be coming by ASAP to bring those items, but it never happened. And there was no follow-up. Overall, if these small details and items could be addressed, I think this would be a perfect place to stay! Thank you for a great week!
