🏝 Sandy Hooked 2Bed1Bath Remodelled Pine Cottage

Across the street from the infamous Sandy Hook Pier and beach on Lake Winnipeg. Perfect for vacations, beach days, ice fishing, and romantic getaways!

Open concept living room and kitchen, large butcher block island and butcher block counter tops and coffee nook, two queen beds, portable dishwasher, gas stove, gas fireplace, closets in bedrooms, newer windows, newer shingles, Pine throughout, 2 decks and a fire pit.

Kitchen is stocked with all essential cookware, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and toaster oven.

Toiletries, soaps and basic cleaning supplies are provided. Guests have access to laundry in suite!

Towels and linens provided by host. :)

Smart TV with close to 100 Blu-Ray/DVDs, sound bar and subwoofer.

Please bring your own food and shower supplies.

Blinds have been installed since photos were taken (in case you are a fan of sleeping in)!

As we run on a natural well system, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water. The high mineral content in the water often provides a discoloured water appearance and metallic taste.

The house was super cute and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Kitchen had basic cooking supplies.The only thing that would make it better would be a little more water pressure in the shower but i don't think the host can help that

The host quickly answered my messages. The cabin was a little smaller in size then I'm used to, but it was cozy and warm. I liked that it was only 10 minutes away from Gimli. My dog and myself had a good time there.

Classic cabin vibe

Cabin is very clean and well-kempt. Strikes a great balance between modern comfort and still having a country/rustic vibe. Host was responsive during check-in and we had no issue accessing anything or using any amenities. Thanks!

Short family vacation

We had a really comfortable stay. Everything about the property was as expected and pictured, and had just about everything that was needed. The location couldn’t have been better for us as we were able to visit family in Winnipeg Beach just a short drive away, and also get into Gimli for the day. Our favourite part was our daily walk to the Sandy Hook Pier and the little beach. The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness of the floor. When we arrived, the floor looked clean, but could have been washed more thoroughly as our feet/socks did get a rather dirty on the first day. But they had a broom and vacuum available that helped, but having a wet mop available might have been nice. Alternatively bringing some house shoes or slippers would be a good idea if like us, you go to the beach every day and don’t want to bring it into the house with you. We would stay here again.

Easter Get-Away

This Pine Cottage was exactly what we wanted for a couple days over Easter with our family. The cottage was very quaint, tidy, and well-stocked, and included firewood. Perfect size for a family of 4 and in great proximity to beach and 10min drive to Gimli. The kids did not want to leave....which is always a good sign. Big thanks to Matthew for the great communication. The Lindsey's!
