“It was low season but we got grate service, upgrade, early breakfast, ride to the closest restaurant when their own was closed. It is not walk distance to the town, but it was the calm and nice surroundings that we was looking for. ”

“The room was not only clean, but had a spectacular view and was so comfortable. Staff was so nice and accommodating. One of the best parts about our stay was the included breakfast and the dinner (not included) which was delicious! We thought we’d explore the island more for dinner but ended up eating at El Picnic because it was just that good. Gaby is an amazing hostess and went above and beyond to assist us with whatever we needed as well. Thanks for a great stay that we will always remember!”

“Ett mycket trevligt hotell lite vid sidan av, i Antigua Guatemala. Det ligger på en innergård så det är mycket lugnt. God frukost, kontinental eller guatemalansk serveras vid en vacker liten trädgård. Personalen är vänliga och mycket måna om att hjälpa till.”

“Very helpful personal. Not easy to find the Place first time, though close to San Juan by feet. (lake way). Spacious and Clean rooms. The view was a deception as the lake from this side is Dirty.”

“Beautiful property, all rooms have amazing lake views. The people are so genuinely friendly and the service is excellent. The only thing is that next time I'll make sure I don't book Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as options are limited in the area. I'll visit Jenna's Bed and Breakfast before or after. So grateful to the staff for all their help. My mother was looking for a medicinal plant and they helped her find it. Definitely a must stay @”

“Really like this hotel. Beautiful view, off the beaten path a bit but still a not too far tuk tuk ride to town. More laid back than the fancier hotel next door but you can still eat there. Loved that breakfast and kayaks were included. Staff was really nice. Good value too. Staying here was like the best of both worlds with the convenience of staying in Panajachel but views being on the lake, especially if you only have a couple nights at the lake. ”

“Nice hotel with really clean floors, comfortable beds, and basic services. The owner is very helpful when you need it. Located on the quieter side of town, this hotel is about 1.5 miles from the Embarcadero for San Pedro and San Juan. Laundry services are available for a reasonable price. Breakfast is also available for various options. ”

“Kaalpul lived up to the hype of the photos! Staff were extremely attentive and warm. Only thing to keep in mind is that you will need a boat to get everywhere, but part of the charm. ”

“Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view of the lake. I feel the state of the pool and bridge over the pool should be updated. I thought it was a larger property than it was. Loud music playing by the pool and heard in the rooms until after midnight. ”
