âBeautiful hotel, excellent staff and gorgeous grounds. The restaurant wasexcellent as well. We originally booked a place in San Marcos but the bathroom was not private or close. Santa cataria was much more peaceful. And the pools were wonderful.â
âCasa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited.
The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken, but we weren't told why and when we could use them.
There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. â
âThis property is the most beautiful place Iâve ever seen in my life. Breathtaking gardens, delicious food and drinks (amazing wine offerings) and everyone was so friendly. Everything about this property is fabulous!â
âI absolutely loved the hotel and property. The area of San Marcos wasnât for me personally but I enjoyed the amenities of the hotel and the staff were always amazing and so sweet. The views are also ⊠breathtaking â
âThe entrance to the property has art that welcomes the traveler with recognition of members of the community in the past. The hotel welcomes the traveler with a wonderful new generation of professionals in the field of tourism, hosting, and many other professionals that make proud the community.â
âVisitors must be aware of the steep, difficult climb from the main road. Fit folx in their 20s and 30s won't be too fussed, but we're pretty fit for our 50s and it was a real effort. Handrails leading up to the yurts would make an excellent safety addition.
We stayed in the top yurt (#4) and the views are tremendous and worth the big climb. We requested breakfast delivery in the am and it arrived on time! Delicious.
Recommend this relatively new destination!â
âThe hostel is located right at the base of Santa Cruz which made it super easy to grab the lanchas. My friend and I stayed in a private suite which was really nice and cozy. The grounds of the hostel itself are stunning and so relaxing! They host family-style dinner's every night which was so wholesome and was a great way to meet new people. The only cons I will say is that there's only wifi in the common spaces, and wifi doesn't reach the rooms. Other than that, I loved my stay! â
