“I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...

“We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. “Great service, they were always nice and helpful. Laundry service quick. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Good location - basically right on the main street so close to everything. The breakfast was extremely light: bananas, bread to toast and butter/jam and then coffee/tea/water. But they had a microwave that could be used anytime and a refrigerator in the room (much appreciated). I liked my stay and would stay here again if I went back. ”

“We stayed in one of the cabanas and it was nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had good food, even if the service for breakfast was a bit slow. It has a really good location next to the Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve, which should not be missed. The hotel is on top pf a pretty steep hill, but the walk from town was not too bad, and you can easily take a taxi if you are not up for the walk.
