"Vi hade fyra bra dagar i Pienza med utmärkt boende på Hotel Relais Il Chiostro di Pienza, som är högklassiskt och med otroligt centralt läge. Pienza, som för oss svenskar är nästan okänt, är en väldigt trevlig och mysig stad mitt i det toscanska landskapet Val´dorcia, som är det finaste område vi någonsin varit i. "

"It's difficult to navigate the narrow streets of Montalcino with a car, but the village is well worth it. The hotel is small and the staff very friendly. The view over the landscape from our room (towards the north-east) was breathtaking. No dinner, but a very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee. The village is good for a few walks, but perhaps even better as a base for excursions; we took a day in Siena. Restaurants are better value than in the larger cities."

"We are so happy to be guests at San Gregorio. Very nice and comfortable hotel, offers much more than expected. The best thing was the art that the hotel is full of, every corner carefully planned. Walking to your room gives you the feeling of being in a museum A real gem in the middle of Pienza/Toscany."

"A 10/10 experience throughout (and an amazing hot spring, with millennia worth of history). Not for anyone going for a budget experience, but worth every penny. Can recommend trying to stay for at least a couple of nights, as a single night might make you struggle to do everything you can and want to do. Only issues were a misunderstanding during check-out (so I had to pay twice for something, but I had thrown away the receipt so partially my fault), and that the valet parking guy had changed all settings on my car as it was returned."
