“Astounding beauty outside, a stylish, cozy feeling inside. We stayed in a mountain view room on the main building, and really enjoyed our short stay. We'll be back to try to trails on property. The room is spacious (much larger than it looked in the pictures), the view amazing, and the grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic property, and lovely service. Highly recommended. ”

“This was a hotel worthy of the 4 star they claim. From Bryans excellence in the reception to Albertos service in the restaurant we have only good things to share. Food tasted great, and the prices was even better then a 3 star hotel we had just come from. There are alot of birds in the hotel that really gives the jungle vibe. They had also great tours. “Be aware they have rooms without AC, they gave us a fan only room. We were supposed to get a Junior suite and it was nothing like the picture. Not enough towels for the three guests, small beds, close to the reception so the noise early in the morning was not fun at all. Property is nice, cold water pool was been clean so we couldn’t use it for day and a half. Good food, decent drinks prices.”

“The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. “We were looking for an “off-tourist” spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but would’ve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didn’t have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end “glamping”. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. ”

“This is a magical stay and we can’t say enough about how much we loved being at the Monkey Tree house. We walked down to the river and went for a swim, saw howler monkeys, strawberry poison dart frogs, and had a relaxing afternoon. Alondra and the team served us amazing breakfasts in the morning and took time to chat. Rae gave us good advice on what to do with one of our kids being sick. We took her advice and got some medicine from the pharmacy. We had a pizza delivery right to our treehouse....
