VRBOAs soon as we arrived we took one trip in the elevator and it stopped working. I called and reported it to Julia at RealJoy. She stated that the previous renters had mentioned that the elevator didn’t work but that the property manager had come by and said that it was working. She remarked that it wasn’t like a typical elevator and there were different ‘rules’ on how to use it. However, there were no instructions given to us for how to use the elevator.When we arrived we could not find the e-bikes. When I called about the elevator I also asked about the e-bikes. Julia told me that the e-bikes had been damaged and they would try to figure something else out for us. She later texted and said that the bikes were in the owners closet and gave us the code. Upon opening the closet we discovered that one bike had a flat tire, one bike had a broken pedal, and one bike had a large scratch on the handle bars. In the previously mentioned text from Julia she also said that a vendor was schedule to come look at the elevator the next day. Then when they didn’t come I texted her and she said that they wouldn’t be coming until July 16th which was after we left. We were traveling with 3 elderly people and 2 babies, so climbing the 3 flights of stairs multiple times daily was exhausting.Propane tanks for fire pits were empty, 2nd floor refrigerator was broken, kitchen table was covered in scratches, no instruction on how to work and lock the foldable door.
