Kort promenad till stranden / Pool

"House of Blues" är ett nytt hem som ligger i en vacker gated stadsdel som kallas The Preserve. Hemmet har varit professionellt inredda i olika nyanser av blues, krämer och solbrännor. Hemmet har en Tommy Bahama inredning stil. Hemmet erbjuder många uppgraderingar såsom anpassade skåp, bänkskivor i granit, top of the line apparater, bekväma sängar, hans och hennes sänkor i badrummet, gungstolar på en veranda och många andra speciella detaljer hela. Hemmet ligger i en gated stadsdel som är tvärs över gatan från en privat strand strandpromenaden som leder direkt till den vackra stranden. "House of Blues" är den tredje hem i grannskapet, så det är mycket nära till den privata deeded stranden strandpromenaden. Hemmet är 300 varv till stranden (en 5-7 minuters promenad), och 3 hus ner från poolen. Vi är en av de närmaste
hem till stranden i Bevara området.


Hemmet har två nivåer. På huvudnivån, hittar du en vacker kök som är perfekt för underhållande. Köksbordet kommer sits 6 och 4 mer kan sitta i baren. I vardagsrummet finns en 42 "plasma-TV och DVD. Befälhavaren har en king size-säng och stort badrum. Det andra sovrummet på huvudnivån har två uppsättningar av våningssängar-perfekt för de små gästerna! Det här hemmet har fyra badrum-alla med granit! Den andra nivån har en annan mästare med en king size-säng med eget badrum. Det andra sovrummet på övervåningen har två queen sängar! Bakom vårt hem är statlig skog, så det är mycket tyst och privat.
Mycket lugnt och privat område, bara några få steg till den vackra sand och klyfta vatten! Området har två pooler, tennisbanor och gym.

Bevara ligger på 30A och ligger till många shoppingområden: Sandestin Outlets (10 minuter), kungsfisk by, världsberömda Red Bar (2 miles), Grayton Park (1 mile) vattenfärg och Seaside (3 miles). Det finns en cykel och vandringsled som löper längs 30A (vägen området är på) som leder direkt in i akvarell och sedan Seaside. Massor av söta små lanthandlar bara en mil bort !!! 1 mil till Starbucks och Another Broken Egg Cafe '. Du kommer att älska "House of Blues" och ett perfekt läge!

Husvagn, båtar, släpvagnar och oregistrerade hyresgästen golfbilar är inte tillåtna på sylten. Parkering finns för upp till 3 bilar.

Deep Clean Needed

Upon our arrival, the first thing we noticed was a broom and vacuum right in the doorway. Odd, but we didn’t think too much, it was probably just forgotten. My family starts unloading the car and we’re all running to bathrooms and everyone starts hollering there is toilet paper in the bathrooms. No paper towels. Which I understand some places don’t supply that, but I thought we’d at least have something to get us started. I send a message asking if there was a supply somewhere we could use for the night. We’re still settling in and I realize there are some random towels here and there that were clearly used. I just grabbed them through them in the laundry room. A few hours later the property manager shows up at the door and says there has been a miscommunication and she didn’t realize anyone was staying there that

Great vacation

This was our first vacation in Grayton Beach. The beach is the best beach we have seen after many years of vacationing in Florida. The grandchildren loved playing in the clear water, soft white sand and also the dune lake adjacent to the beach. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach area but a lot of it is through a shaded walkway through a natural area...very nice. A lot of the beaches in this area are private so you have to walk a little way to get to the beach area you can use...well worth it. The house was very nice and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the wraparound porch and the kitchen is well equipped with whatever you might need. The location of the house in the neighborhood is ideal...close to one of the pools and to the beach access trail.

Lemonade

We came down with friends and family. Ten of us in total, we arrived on our bus. Late the evening of our first night, we were rudely informed by one of the neighbors that strict HOA rules prohibited buses,RVs, or boat trailers from being parked in the neighborhood. We had booked this property specifically because there was parking for our bus in the driveway at the house. Had we known the HOA rule ahead of time, we would have booked elsewhere. As it was, a very sweet neighbor swooped in and came to our rescue, giving us the name of a local RV Resort (Luxury RV Resort…who were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating) and offering to allow us use of their car. We were able to run the bus to the resort and get groceries later in the week by borrowing this sweet neighbors vehicle. We regrouped and changed our plans to spending the days on the beach and going on just a few side adventures to areas that were within walking distance. We definitely made lemonade with some sour lemons. I reached out to the property manager early on and let her know what was going on. She offered to help drive us (although with 10 of us that would have been difficult) she loaned us a bike which my husband road to the RV resort to pick up our bus on the last day of our trip. At the end of the week, I heard from the owner, who apologized for the inconvenience of our week and covered the cost of storing our bus, with a little xtra.Bus issue aside, the home is beautiful, fun was had by all.

Great week at House of Blues

We had a wonderful week with our adult children and grandkids. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, spacious house that had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely. Driving distance to our favorite place, Grayton Beach, was short. Beds are very comfortable. Port-a-crib and bunk beds were perfect for the kids. Enjoyed the front porch. We had a few missteps on the stairs. Not the owner’s fault, but just a word of caution to be careful.

Lovely house but long walk for grandparents

Pros: The house is wonderful with plenty of space. We loved the front porch with the rocking chairs and large picnic table. The second floor porch was also lovely to sit outside at night. The kitchen had sufficent supplies for all the basic meals we made. Beds were comfortable. And we really enjoyed there was plenty of space for everyone to sit in the living room and at the dining room table. Water pressure great even when everyone took showers at the same time and it was nice to have access to the tennis courts. Cons: If you have really little ones or older grandparents, the beach might be too long of a walk. The boardwalk is pretty and flat but I didn't realize how far we would have to walk on the beach to be able to setup our tent. You are not allowed on the beach right down from the boardwalk because that is owned by the condos directly next to the boardwalk. Nor is anyone allowed from the complex to the immediate left as that is the Bannerman subdivision beach. So you either have to go to the far left or to the right. We usually chose the far left because the outfall from the dune lake was not as much on the left as on the right. And when you are lugging a wagon loaded down with stuff, you just don't want to forge a big outfall. Grandparents 70-82 years old struggled walking everyday in the sand that far. An adult with only a chair took 10 minutes to walk from frontsteps to where we setup on the beach. The grandparents took 18 minutes (with no chair to carry).

Family trip

We had a wonderful time catching up with family. Had two homes in the neighborhood. This home is a great location to the beach as well as the pool. Kitchen was well equipped and the layout was perfect to be able to interact with all of us. We loved the upstairs porch!!

Fall Break at House of Blues

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the House of Blues. It was another great week for our group. The property owner (Michael) and the property manager (Marcia) are very responsive and do all they can to make sure our trip is the best it can be. Thank you for another successful week!

Perfect Location!

Wonderful place to stay! We had 4 adults, 3 teenagers, a 5 year old, and two babies. Everyone had adequate space. House is beautiful. Easy walk to the beach. Great pool area. Overall perfect location. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

Perfect vacation

The house was amazing. It was very clean when we arrived and the housekeeper, Marcia, met the 1st group of us when we arrived. The owner was very prompt to respond to my questions before and after booking. The kids loved the bunk room and we loved the space. The front porch was a good place for morning coffee. The boardwalk to the beach was nice and maintained and a small walk to beach, which was so nice and private. The highlight was seeing a momma bear and cub in the front yard and tree. Kids and adults alike was in awe lol. This is definitely a place I would recommend and would love to visit again.

Almost perfect!

Would have been perfect if the refrigerator had not broken upon our arrival. The owner was clearly not informed. Michael and Marsha did their best to help with ice and coolers to hold the "must have items". The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. We didn't let the refrigerator get us down. They had it fixed as soon as possible. We plan on returning in the fall.

Perfect Spring Break

We had the best time on our trip! The location was perfect! The walk to the beach is only 5-7 minutes and one of the neighborhood pools is super close! We went to Blue Mountain Creamery several nights and even walked one night. We enjoyed taking the public shuttle into seaside so that we didn’t have to deal with trying to park there. We’ve stayed in Seagrove and Seaside several times, but we really loved Grayton for how much calmer and less people! The property managers were great as well! We will be back!

Spring Break Getaway

House of Blues is an exceptional home away from home to unplug and recharge. We loved it. We were two families with four kids total. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax. The house was clean with lovely sea inspired decor. The kids enjoyed riding bikes around the neighborhood and swimming in the neighborhood heated pool. The gated walkway to the beach was well maintained and easy to assess! It was a short walk to white sand beaches. I know the HOA of the neighborhood is working to try to remedy some issues with a resort who is claiming beach front, but even the short walk to where it was ok for us to be wasn’t bad. The beaches are so pretty. I do hope they can resolve the issues for current home owners and future guests! But that is no fault of the House of Blues and I know the neighborhood is working on it. The only issues we had was no internet and poor cell phone service, which the home owner really tried to get it fixed for us but the internet company didn’t come until we were already gone. It made it impossible for my husband to work so he had to spend a little time at a near by coffee shop to get internet. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing while we were there. The positive is that it caused us to unplug even more than we had planned and relax. The neighborhood is an enjoyable bike ride to places like Watercolor and Seaside. We enjoyed riding to them a couple days and enjoying the sites. There are wide trails for people to walk or bike along 30A. We would totally go back and would recommend it to anyone who is considering staying there!

Relaxation at its best!

Super lovely house in a tidy quiet neighborhood. Great layout in the house. The one time I don’t bring shampoo, the place didn’t stock it with soaps, but most everything else was provided as a starter. The beach access was fabulous! I’ve felt like there was a lot of check out cleaning request that should have been covered by the cleaning fee we had to pay. Other than that I would highly recommend and stay again!
