    Det handlar om tillgång ... och det här hemmet har det bästa av båda. Om du vill utforska Eastern Lake, på en paddelbräda, kajak eller kanot, kan du helt enkelt stiga av verandan och du är vid sjön. Om du vill gå i viken, är det cirka 150 meter söderut i en avsedd strandåtkomst till stranden, eller så kan du ladda upp dina saker och bara paddla söderut, och du är på Eastern Lake Inlet, en av de bästa platserna i alla i South Walton för barn och vuxna att njuta av sanden, solen och havet på en speciell plats. Och nu erbjuder vi en vacker, terrasserad pool vid sjön! (Poolen värms upp för att erbjuda en uppfriskande plats att tillbringa en semester på hösten.)

    "The Best Of Both" erbjuder två separata bostadsområden, men kopplade till inre trappor. På övervåningen har det egna sovrummet och sovrummet, samt ett fullstort gäst sovrum med privat badrum. På övervåningen finns också ett fullt modernt kök och den mest panoramautsikt över sjön och viken du någonsin kan önska dig. Nedervåningen har ytterligare ett sovrum och master badrum och ett våningssäng rum för barnen, som också har ett annat badrum. Den nedre våningen erbjuder ett frukostkök, med ett kylskåp och en ismaskin samt en mikrovågsugn. Nedre våningen har en inbyggd grill och ligger nära poolen och gångvägen, som leder dig till bryggan. Nära showen hittar du en mängd små vattenskotrar: kajaker och en kanot. Det finns en utomhusdusch på gården.
    Om du vågar North tar sjön dig till backwateren i Eastern Lake eller till "Old Florida Fish House", om det är skaldjur du är intresserad av. Om du vågar söderut kommer Mexikanska golfen att hälsa dig när du sätter dig ner i den kristallvita sanden och stirrar på det smaragdgröna vattnet framför dig.
    Om paddling inte är din stil, är det en kort promenad till stranden, eller så kan du hyra cyklar för att kryssa de nästan 30 mil cykelvägarna som är lättillgängliga i närheten. Och naturligtvis är shopping och aktiviteter precis vid vägen vid Seaside, Rosemary Beach och Alys Beach.

Backyard oasis! Kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing in the lake. Adults enjoyed the amazing patios and pool. Beach access extremely close. Best additional feature was the large ice maker downstairs that could fill coolers!!

Host very responsive. Great pool area, great view. Fun fishing off the dock. Convenient location. Great house, but a bit tight for 6 adults 2 young kids 1 baby. As far as the area, the brackish water and rip tides were nasty a few of the days, but offset by remaining being wonderful water days. Restaurants served good food, though it was chaotic in the evenings going to dinners, to dodge bikes & carts after dark.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Best of Both Worlds. The house was spacious and clean. The location was excellent, providing for a peaceful stay while still being close to all of the 30A attractions/beach. All of the amenities were as described. We especially enjoyed the views from the balcony and the private pool! Our hosts were very helpful, even calling to let us know about a boat parade on the lake for the Independence Day holiday. One note, the closest beach access that requires wading across the inlet was a bit deep during our visit. It was about chest high. Not sure if this is unusual. Just a heads up.

Great house with practically layout and wonderful porch. Kitchen is nicely stocked and owners are very responsive. We love the area and will stay here again!

Best Vacation Ever

We had the best time! We could have stayed at the house, lake, and beach and never left! So many things for all ages to do here. The pool was really an added bonus for the little ones in our group. Can’t wait to go back!

A great girls getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Best of Both! It was the perfect location with an amazing view. Most of the small towns are within walking/biking distance. The lake access was perfect, even in the cooler weather and the beach was a very short walk down the street. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back!

Truly Best of Both

The anticipation of this trip was huge and the property did not disappoint. Having the Pool, Lake , and Beach option, no one was ever bored. The kids loved the kayaks and are still talking about them. Can't wait to go back next year is possible!

Absolutely perfect

This home was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 kids. We had a family with young children who stayed downstairs with MaMaw and then a younger crew that stayed upstairs. The 2 living/kitchen areas were perfect. The private pool was a luxury and the short walk to the beach gave us all the options in one place. I can't recommend this lovely home more.

Another fantastic stay-Part 2

The Best of Both did not let us down for the second year in a row with grandkids enthusiastically wanting to come back in 2024 which is already booked. So much to do, great furnished house both inside and out. We love our travels to the beach in our canoe and kayaks. The pool and its lake view is breathtaking. The best house we’ve stayed and there have been many. Thank you to the owners for sharing.

Great week with family

This location was perfect for us this year, especially since the beach was extremely rough. This home with a pool and a fishing dock made our trip extra enjoyable with the less than ideal beach conditions. The owners were fabulous to work with and were very responsive to our every need. You don't have to think twice about renting this one. It was a great experience. Thank you Nina and Garrett for your hospitality.

Garrett and Nina were wonderful hosts! Their home was a perfect blend of beach and lake activities with a side of pool! PERFECTION!! They were accommodating and proactive. The put 4 bags of ice in the freezer before we arrived because the ice maker they have was not working properly. They were so very quick to respond to any inquiries I had prior to our visit and we didn’t need anything after getting there, because again, it was perfect! I am keeping this place in my pocket because we are going back!!! Beautiful!!!

Wonderful !

We loved the location of the house. Absolutely loved the pool, lake, and view. Very beautiful! Layout of house was good and very comfortable. The kayaks were so nice to have to take to the beach! Huge win for the kids ! My only complaint would be the outdated TVs. Would’ve loved to have smart tvs for the two main living rooms so that we could have apps or stream shows from our phone at night . Also, downstairs shower sprays water on to the floor and gets pretty soaked.

Amazing

We had 6 adults and 5 children and Best of Both was definitely the best fit for all of us. The house is great with everything (and more) that you need for a beach vacation. Everyone loved being able to get out on the water right from our private dock. The beautiful private pool is truly one of a kind, looking right out on Eastern Lake. We loved sitting on the upper deck watching the full moon and playing games every night! Even on the rainiest of days everyone found a special nook in the house to enjoy a good book, play a game or even take a nap! We can’t wait to plan our next family vacation at Best of Both. Thank you Garrett and Nina, you truly have a gem!

Nice house.

House as shown. Updated and clean and well stocked. Need to walk a ways to get to beach unless you are willing to wade knee deep. Beach was nice. Busy area. Had kayaks and canoes and owner got us enough life jackets for all. Cooked meals with ease using appliances and cookware. Fishing was not good but hit bad days probably—cool and windy week—no ones fault. Good for family of adult children and grandchildren. Pool was nice and was heated.
