Fantastic cool design hotel, great staff
Good hotel, wonderful views, pool big enough to do some swimming (rooftop, great views over the city and the Andes) friendly staff... The hotel is located in an upscale neighbourhood. Close to metro, but taxis are also cheap and easily available. We would definitely come back!

A very cool and posh Hotel in Santiago!
A super cool and posh Hotel in the best location of Santiago de Chile. The W Santiago has very modern and large rooms, excellent free Breakfast Buffet including Champagne and Vodka and an extraordinary pool area at the 21st Floor. I highly recommend a stay in W Santiago.

It is a good hotel but overpriced!
The hotel is in a very good area, close to go out running, shopping and eating. Safe and close to public transportation. It has very nice facilities, a great gym, a nice lobby and all and all very posh. However the hotel is overpriced, the internet is very expensive and they do not have a coffee maker in the room which can be nice to have. If you stay in the lower levels you will be left without hot water between 17-22 when most people get back from work and go working out.

Great hotel but a little expensive
This hotel has excellent rooms with very nice design, they are spacious, have very nice bathubs and showers, great beds. The only thing bothered me is that you did not even get a bottle of water in the room and to buy one was like 5-6$. Tip is to go across the street to a small shop were you can buy water and other small things. The gym is great, remember to bring your on water.

I det stora hela ett kanon hotell! Internet kunde vara bättre och det lite komplicerade hiss systemen för att ta sig till de olika delar är nog de enda negativa jag upplevde.

Todo estuvo excelente desde antes de nuestra llegada por parte de Dominique tuvimos comunicación , lo cual ya tenía listas unas peticiones . El desayuno súper completo y delicioso . La habitación de buen tamaño. La ubicación. Excelente del hotel . Muy cómodo, solamente el Clima nos hubiese gustado un poco más frío . Pero todo fue maravilloso. Hacen todo lo posible para tu comodidad.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room however had some shortcomings - no proper reading lights by the bed, and aircon was poor and difficult to adjust, resulting in the room being a little stuffy at times. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was chaotic - we had to sit in an overflow area.

Ok but not the best
The W is a little old and tired looking as per other reviews it could use some modernisation but overall its a great place to stay. However the Concierge team are pretty rubbish, messed up bookings and the hotel charges you 19% in USD tax if you don't have a credit card to take payment. a bit ridiculous and wont allow you to charge anything to your room without a deposit paid in USD that they give you back Pesos for if you dont spend the deposit across your stay,

Great location ! Excellent Staff ! Great Service
This was our first visit to Santiago. The service, friendliness and willingness to be of help at the W was outstanding. Food was excellent. Our upgraded room and its views was Amazing. The property is showing its age a little and could use a makeover and new, less soft mattresses. The location to shopping and restaurants is perfect. We would definitely stay again !

Achamos que o hotel está no limiar de uma necessidade de reforma e atualização do quarto. O quarto esta defasado tecnologicamente e é muito escuro. Por outro lado espaçoso e confortável. O café da manhã tem opções limitadas para um 5 estrelas, sem informação indicando o que é cada comida e os funcionários mal preparados. Me perguntaram 3 vezes o número do quarto quando para entrar no restaurante eu tive que me identificar.

El hotel es muy lindo, esta muy bien ubicado cerca de varios restaurantes y una zona De Santiago hermosa. Las habitaciones son amplias. Los restaurantes del hotel espectaculares, ppalmente Karai. Nosotros teníamos el desayuno incluido y fue excelente el servicio y la calidad de la comida.

Comfortable, high quality hotel in nice area
Really friendly staff from start to finish. Super comfortable room with huge shower. Top quality breakfast selection. Hotel layout is a bit annoying in that you have to take three different sets of lifts to get to different areas. Some of the decor felt a bit dated. Pool bar / food menu was poor. Hotel is in a really nice part of Santiago, close to bars and restaurants.

The decor is tired and needs a refurbishment, there was none of the 'wow' factor that W's are meant to provide. The breakfast buffet was very poor, there was a lot of food but it was poor quality and poorly presented. Staff at the rooftop bar were very good, but other staff seemed not to care about much. And in this day and age, a hotel still using toiletries in small disposable bottles is really disappointing.

Las habitaciones son muy oscuras, los halls de las habitaciones parecen un motel. Lo unico que me parecio lindo es la zona del desayuno y el desayuno esta rico. El precio del hospedaje me parecio excesivo para lo que ofrece el hotel. Para ponerlos en contexto me salio mucho mas costo que el Mandarin Oriental un hotel superior al W. No volveria a hospedarme en este hotel, ni en otro W, cobran como si fueran 5 estrellas y realmente no lo son.

We stayed here for a night after a cruise. The hotel is in a modern office building in a nice residential/ business area. I felt safe walking around. The rooftop pool was a good feature - it was long enough for laps but not wide. The pool area is nice, though it got a bit crowded on Saturday afternoon. The has a “happening” type vibe. Rooms were large and convenient. The breakfast was good. It is a short distance to La Golf Metro.

Hotel com boas condicoes, e otimo pequeno-almoço. Mas o ponto mais fraco é a manutençao: ha um relogio na parede na sala da recepcao, com um pedaço quebrado. A porta do banheiro esta mal pintda e nao tem qualidade. O forro do teto do quarto e em varias partes do hotel esta descuidado, no meu quarto o forro estava todo mal acabado no sprinkler de incendio. A piscina é o melhor exemplo da falta de manutençao, o corrimao da piscina esta solto, o deck tem madeiras soltas e partidas, as plantas mal cuidadas, as cadeiras esta mal cuidadas, os vidros bem sujos. As paredes do hotel, os carpetes mal cuidados. Parece que simplesmente nao ha manutencao neste hotel.
