“Tolles historisches Gebäude mit Flair. Wer auf Authentisches auf den Azoren Wert legt, ist hier richtig. Hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und uns wohl gefühlt. Frühstück ist spartanisch, so wie es eben auf den Azoren genommen wird, dafür ist es inklusive. Die zum ehemaligen Kloster gehörige Kirche wird nur zum Gottesdienst geöffnet, ist sehenswert. ”

“Would 100 % recommend this cozy small hotel! Best hotel on the hole trip. Lovely staff in the calm town Uzelina. The rooms were clean and beautiful and it was easy to take a taxi to Velas. You have access to a kitchen where you can make tea, coffees and eat homemade cookies. Beautiful view from the hotel room over Pico. ”

“We had a truly lovely stay at this charming guesthouse. The owner and her husband are without a doubt the sweetest people we met during our trip. On the morning of our departure, her husband even offered, completely on his own initiative, to drive us to the ferry. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days and deserves to be recognized. The place itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. “Es war wundervoll! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Ich glaube die Zimmer wurden vor nicht langer Zeit renoviert, jedenfalls sind sie in top Zustand, sowie Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind einwandfrei. Die Terrasse ist atemberaubend <3. Das ganze Team ist super lieb und hilfsbereit. Man kann sogar Wäsche abgeben. :) Würde jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft.”

“Really nice hotel. Great room with fantastic view. The breakfast was really good and the staff sometimes served an extra treat. We arrived prior to check in time, with the intent to store our luggage. Since the breakfast was still open they invited us to have something to eat, free of charge.”
