âWe were satisfied!
We tried every restaurant except Sabor. Nouvelle Brasserie and Carvaja were our favorites. Great service from the staff, they were very helpful - special shout out to Carolina from the Guest Experience desk. The spa was amazing with an amazing view. A plus is that the resort is very close to one of the hiking trails.
Improvements? The drinks at the bars were a mixed bag. Ordered Granita one day and it was like a slush, the other day the bartender just put some ice cubes in...

âVery great place of stay. Hotel has a very natural feel due to beautiful location in the mountains combined with the natural design and colors of the interior. Very much enjoyed the pool, garden, great breakfast offering (and all very fresh). Also the beds are comfortable and would recommend a room on the first floor with balcony. Make sure to enjoy the morning market on Sunday's in the town! â

âEtt fantastiskt hotell med bĂ€sta lĂ€get pĂ„ norra Madeira. Vi hade utsikt över havet och bergen med vattenfall, en magisk upplevelse. Mycket trevlig personal med personligt bemötande. Mycket bra frukost med livemusik.

âThe staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right at the ocean front with excellent food, coffee in walking distance. There is paid parking close by butbwe weee able to park free in the hotel parking lot. The lot is small so we may have been lucky.â

Flera restauranger fanns i nÀrheten. VÀdret var vÀldigt omvÀxlande och dimma pÄ morgonen var ett vanligt inslag. Hotellets inomhus pool var mycket livligt frekventerad. UnderhÄllning en gÄng med musik o dans.

âStayed in a room that hosted me and two friends. The location to check-in was close to the apartment and walkable. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants that are walkable from this location. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth with the host. There is an elevator so you donât have to only rely on stairs to bring your luggage upstairs. All in all a good stay! â
âA great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching.
Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area.
Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus.
Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas.
Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed.

"We were satisfied!

Improvements? The drinks at the bars were a mixed bag. Ordered Granita one day and it was like a slush, the other day the bartender just put some ice cubes in and mixed it with juices and stirred. That's not a Granita! One bar served an amazing frozen fruity Daqiuri (The Desire) but the same bar mentioned above just put the drink and some ice in the mixer for five seconds and then served it? Wildly inconsistent tastes of some drinks we tried more than once, for example the Madeira Colada could be either the best drink at the resort or a measly meh.
The juices at the breakfast were also very bad.
The resort should do something about guests hogging sunbeds for hours, just leaving some stuff there and not being present. One company seemingly had sun beds claimed over the night even.
