Private Cozy Sarasota Home by RedAwning

Just beyond the stunning island of Siesta Key, known for brilliant white

powder sand and turquoise waters this quaint and cozy home waits to welcome

you. Siesta Key is a virtual island paradise but this prime location is also

only 10 min from Sarasota village and the number one beach in the USA. A

perfect setting for a weekend getaway or even an extended stay.



The home is situated in the midst of towering oak trees that provide both

ambiance and ample shade while still affording guest the opportunity to

sunbathe. Extensive remodeling was completed just a month ago including

beautiful plank flooring throughout and stainless steel appliances plus

granite countertops in the lovely kitchen. Both bathrooms were also part of

the remodeled including tile showers and glass doors in the primary bedroom.

Remote controlled ceiling fans throughout make sure you stay cool and

comfortable.



You'll enjoy a respite in the private back yard. Walk to Publix or one of the

five great restaurants, including Walt's seafood restaurants (BEST IN

SARASOTA). Siesta Village offers shopping, more top-rated restaurants,

entertainments, a vibrant nightlife and coffee shops There are any number of

special events held throughout the year on the Key's famous beaches. This is

truly a paradise to enjoy and share with family, friends and love ones.

Two Adult Couples

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very nice and clean. Three doors down from a very popular Walt’s Fish Market. So glad we could walk there because parking was difficult and the food was fabulous. Best grouper ever. Great location. Dave, the manager, was super to work with.

Nice !

This is a nice little house that worked well for our 6 person vacation. Host was prompt in responding if we had questions. Back yard is private and great for tanning ! Deck is nicely shaded for just relaxing. Is as described and pictured. Would recommend !

great place

Clean and easy. Nice arrangement of rooms if you're there with another couple. There's a small step down into the living area, but it's marked and we had no problem with it. Just might be a consideration if a wheelchair is involved. Otherwise it was great. And just at the end of the street is a marvelous restaurant. Couldn't be better.

Home away from home for the holidays

My family and I rented this place to host my parents who live in Sarasota for Christmas. The location was convenient, property was as advertised and we were able to make some lasting memories. Great kitchen, easy to cook in, and the backyard was a nice place to enjoy the balmy breezes. Only suggestion is to provide a few more kitchen items like mixing bowls, sharp knives and measuring cups. Otherwise it was well appointed. We would stay there again!

EVERN BETTER than we expected!

This was our first time doing a VRBO, and the process was flawless. We were so lucky to find this place booking only one week before our preferred dates, and are SO GLAD it was available. It was destiny! Here are just a few of the highlights: 1) Even better than pictured. They added a shade sail to the back deck which made sitting out in the mornings with coffee and a book just dreamy. 2) The back yard is lovely and quiet. You can hear birds chirping, feel a light breeze, and choose to sit in the shade or lay out in the sun on chaise loungers. 3) Everything was SO CLEAN inside and outside. Fresh towels, including beach towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The kitchen is gorgeous and well appointed. 4) The location/neighborhood: quiet, secluded (dead end street means no through traffic) yet close to everything! We walked down to Walt's for lunch one day, and we would have gone back again and again! What a gem, right at the end of the street - great food and service, and the atmosphere is pure vacation! Rental car made it easy to get to multiple beaches in the area, all within a short drive. It was REALLY nice leaving the congestion of the beach areas and coming back to our relaxing respite! However, I think we could have used public transit as the house is located right off a major roadway that seemed to have frequent bus service, and could get you to the free beach area shuttle for Siesta Key. Walkable to Trader Joes, Publix, an ice cream shop, doughnut shop, bagel place, and so many restaurants. 5) Amenities - they thought of just about everything at this house! Living spaces had ample seating, kitchen has plenty of the essentials including coffee maker and toaster. Great ice maker on the fridge kept our water bottles full. In the bedrooms/bathrooms - plenty of clean fluffy towels and washcloths, clean sheets and a back up set, blankets, hangers in the very spacious closets, even a hair dryer and TP were stocked! The washer and dryer were clean and easy to use. * We had one hiccup when we arrived and the local property manager responded immediately to my phone call and had the problem fixed within minutes. He even followed up the next day to make sure that it was still working. We would definitely return to this absolute gem!

Just the right place to stay

This house was great for our party of 4. Close to Siesta Key Beach and fun restaurants, but just enough away for the quiet relaxation we were looking for. The back deck was lovely for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. I would go back again.

Nice property

We were pleased with this rental. It was clean and exactly as pictured. This is our third visit to Sarasota/Siesta Key. We prefer staying near the village but I planned our trip too late. If we stay away from the village, we will definitely consider this property again.
