"Fine hotel with extremely central location just around the corner from the cathedral, with a multitude of bars and restaurants all around. ”Dog-friendly” but not so much: We arrived at breakfast with our dog only a few minutes after opening. We were then seated - by two hotel staff members - in the breakfast room section by the windows; this part is separated from the buffet by a wall or a screen. We picked our food from the buffet and sat there eating for twenty minutes, our dog lying quietly on the floor, and no other guests sitting in this section. Then another staff member appears and turns us off from our table while we are sitting there eating, saying we have to sit in another ”room” because of the dog. I said that we had been referred to this table by his colleagues but he persisted. So we had to move our food and drinks and sit elsewhere. Since we and the dog had already been at this table for quite a while this action was really totally useless as well as rude to us as guests, even though the first two staff members seemed to have made a mistake when seating us - which was not our fault. Furthermore, this ”room” to where we were moved was actually outdoors, it was like a patio with a tarpaulin mounted as a roof. It’s fine to have breakfast in the open air when it’s warm in the summer, but not at 8 o’clock in the morning in the autumn when it is twelve degrees. This whole action was totally unaccepatable and injudicious."

"För att vara ett Ibis budget var det över förväntan. Bra hotell med toppenläge i Gent. Vi parkerade i det närliggande p-garaget som låg en minut bort, 20€/dygn, dock trångt och maxhöjd 1,85. God frukost med bra utbud."

"Trevligt med ett poolområde, men när det är 35 grader varmt hade det såklart varit bra med någon form av skugga runt poolen. Typ parasoller."
