We had an amazing stay! The house was truly beautiful with plenty of space for our group. We especially loved the pool, fire pit, grill, and outdoor dining area — perfect for relaxing and spending time together. Everything was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Saugerties dreamhouse

In a sentence; this is a great rental. It's a lovely farmhouse set on 25 acres of property and is a great location in the wonderful town of Saugerties. It's very close to HITS, so if you love horses, it's a perfect location. The house is incredibly comfortable and well furnished. The outdoor furnishings are great and the grill is to die for. Turn on the backyard lights and forget all your worries in a great outdoor space for dinner and talking. A great firepit is installed, although it was a rainy month and we didn't get to take advantage of it. The kitchen is well furnished and my only criticism is of the TV. It's circa 1990's and I suggest they update to a plasma flat screen so you could watch screaming shows. But do you really rent a great place like this to watch TV? I say no.

Great place for Mid-Hudson group getaway

This is a very comfortable property with a wonderful location in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Plenty of parking, super clean, well-furnished and exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Location is super for enjoying the Mid-Hudson Valley - museums, apple picking, leaf-peeping, Hudson paddling and the HITS Saugerties horse facility.

Misleading listing

All good except the listing says 5 bedroom 3 baths and in actuality the house is 4 bedrooms and 2 baths .. with an option if you pay more to use a separate apartment you can if you ask.... very sleazy!!!!!

Great location for our group!

We were in town for 2 weeks at HITS, and this house couldn’t have been any more convenient or well suited for our group. Lots of room for kids to roam, and great grown up space as well. It’s a very charming home, and the outdoor cooking area is fantastic. The separate apartment was perfect for our trainer to get some privacy while still being part of our gaggle. I do wish there were a few more supplies provided ( more cooking utensils, plates/forks/bowls, and some basic foodstuffs like salt and oil) and more generous towels and blankets, but overall, it was a great house for our purposes. Also, I wish the foot/bike access to the showgrounds was better detailed, but since we were there through some of the most epic storms ever, we would’ve had to rely on covered transportation anyway! Thanks for everything!!

Perfect for large group

Our family enjoyed staying here! There were 8 of us, plenty of beds and space to spread out for both the adults and the kids. Large dining room table and kitchen (plenty of prep space) and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer, too. We never saw the home owners but I was in communication with Yasmin around checkout time and she was very kind and pleasant to work with. It would be great if there were washclothes and basics in the bathroom (soap/shampoo), but this was minimal. I very much appreciated that all the bedding was washed with unscented soaps, thank you!

Old house with lots of charm. Natural gas odor when starting the oven. Forced air furnace could not maintain 68F temperature on 40F night. Location was very convenient for wedding and family visits.

Perfect rental home for HITS!

Property is a two minute drive to HITS. So convenient for popping back for lunch or a forgotten item. Back yard wonderful for BBQs in the evening. Plenty of rooms to chose from to sleep. Great to have washer/dryer access!

Immaculate House. Lots of Space!

A very peaceful weekend away

Myself and a few friends wanted to get away for the weekend and we found this property. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and was a very big and clean house. Although the owner was always on hand, I never met with them, and they respected our privacy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and I am looking forward to my next stay. Very peaceful area, BBQ and a big garden for our dogs to run around. But compared to other properties, I say again, I am very pleased how clean and close to everything (with car) this property was. Check out the lighthouse - Yasmin, I do thank you for everything, and you are truly a great host/owner. David

The house was roomy, comfortable, clean, and just as attractive as described. Every one of our large group had plenty of places to gather in the large well furnished living rooms or to find a quiet place to be alone. The kitchen provided plenty of work space with new or almost new appliances, and was furnished with more than enough kettles, dishes, and detergents. We could have used more butter knives, dish towels, and dishcloths. Bedrooms were inviting and the beds were excellent, with plenty of sheets, pillows, quilts, etc. provided. In the gloomy cold weather the house was snug and well heated. There was plenty of hot water in modern bathrooms, and plentiful new towels. Best of all was the location, affording places for small town sightseeing and nature walks. We recommend this house for a family to be together. The owner was there to meet us and gave us very good instructions. She invited us to contact her with any questions or needs.
