Set in a restored 1885 property built by Matthew Lufburrow, this ground-level space boasts a rich history, having once been home to Dr. Benjamin S. Purse, Surgeon General of the Confederacy, and later a beloved fabric parlor.

Lovely Place

Such a wonderful place to stay in Savannah! Perfect walking distance to so many cool spots, and nestled in a safe community. Maria was a great host and made sure we had all of the information we needed for our stay. My only concern is that it wasn’t made clear in the property description that we would have to pay for parking, as it does say parking is included in the amenities. Otherwise, no complaints. awesome place and amazing host to book with!

It is a little difficult to find but turned out to be a great location. We could walk to much of Savannah's historic district. It was clean and comfortable. Maria was quick to answer when we called for directions.

A Gem in Savannah

This VRBO is in an incredible location - an easy walk so close to restaurants and coffee shops and downtown venues. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous with so many thoughtful touches, including a sound machine and a water filter and a lovingly curated selection of books. Plus, room darkening shades which allowed me to sleep in - this cozy place was the ultimate retreat!

The property was so cute and so chic! Fell in love with it and the city of Savannah! The building was a little hard to find with the direct address but Maria’s picture and description in the property notes put it in great detail on how to get to it. Perfectly located unit. We parked on site and only used our car once to go out to Tybee, otherwise everything you could want to do is easily walkable. The unit itself was adorable and was well appointed as just and shown and described in the listing.
