The room was great, in the perfect area for walking downtown, and parking our car for free.
The bed isn’t a Queen size, like advertised it’s smaller… more like a double/full size. There is no coffee… they don’t tell you that until you get there, can’t find it, then text and ask them… bring your own coffee pods, or buy some before you check in and get settled for the night.
Communication and customer service wasn’t great. I had questions while preparing for my trip, but couldn’t get a response.. through VBRO or their Vacasa app… A couple of days before my trip (when it was too late for answers) I got an email and text. The day of my trip, I got texts from 4 different people, an email and notification in the app.
When I picked the place on VRBO, it seemed reasonably priced. I was rushed, and reserved it without noticing all of the fees and charges they added on,.. increased my stay by about $200 a night, and of course, they don’t offer 100% refunds…
Check out was earlier than I’ve had to check out before (unless you want to pay an additional fee for ‘late checkout’) but the checkout process was pretty simple.
I wouldn’t pick it again, even though it was clean, cute and perfectly situated for walking around Savannah.
