Oatland Island Family Cottage 10 minutes from Tybee Island and Historic Savannah

  • Summary:

    Amazing Location! This home sits in between Tybee Island and Savannah's Historic Downtown. A 10 minute drive to River Street and 15 minute drive to Tybee Island. This is the perfect home for families or couples wanting to visit the Wildlife Center located just 3 minutes away! Cozy hot tub and firepit, Beach chairs and towels, plush beds with luxurious linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the things you need to make a vacation complete are waiting for you.



    The Space:

    This coastal cottage boasts beautiful artwork by local artists and will be the perfect place to unwind after a trip to the beach or after a day of exploring our gorgeous city. The master bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs. All the other rooms and space are located on the main level. The kitchen is fully stocked and the dining room is ready to host game night or a nice group dinner. Each room has its own closet and 2 luggage racks per room. Work remotely from a designated desk, a comfy recliner, a spacious couch or our large dining room table.



    Clean Linen Participant: All linens including duvet covers, quilts, and blankets are all laundered after every checkout.



    A grocery store, gas station, Walmart, nail salon, McDonald’s, Jersey mikes, Five guys, Jalapeños, Liquor store, Steak House, 2 bbq restaurants, and a pharmacy are just 3 minutes away.



    Guest Access:

    The entire home is yours to use with the exception of one closet which is used for our supplies.



    The Neighborhood:

    This home sits directly off of Islands Expressway making it super convenient to quickly get to Tybee Island or downtown. You may walk around the very safe neighborhood taking in the beautiful Richardson Creek with views



    Getting Around:

    Guests have a roundabout driveway as well as a parking pad. Take a walk around and enjoy the beautiful views of the rivers and marsh around us.

This house was perfect! Our host Lacey was so easy to communicate with, the house was so clean and every thoughtful detail was put in place to make us feel at home and comfortable! The home is centrally located between Savannah and Tybee Island making it the perfect spot to enjoy both locations! We will definitely be back!

The house was lovely! The dock access is gorgeous and the hot tub/back patio area was wonderful as well. Very friendly and accommodating property manager and neighbors. Overall 10/10!

Family Time

This house was a perfect getaway for my family. It has everything; the hosts thought of all the details and more. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the outdoor shower. House was very clean. Loved that the beach chairs and towels were provided. The location was perfect, the beach and Savannah were both a short drive. Lacey was an amazing host, very prompt with responses.

Attention to detail was unbelievable

Fantastic place very clean and has everything you would need down to candles for a birthday cake Lacey and her mum were quick to respond and even provided something that we requested within hours. Don’t hesitate to book.

This house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 5. It had everything we needed and more. My kids loved the hot tub. It was conveniently placed, and we were able to get everywhere quick. It was right between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. The beds in this house are amazing. Lacey was very helpful. Also, the easiest check out I’ve ever had.

We would love to come back!

Such a cute place! Easy drive to the city or beach. Every little detail was so well thought through and convenient. Small amenities like nail polish remover and makeup towels in the bathrooms. Cooking spray in the kitchen. Decorated so nicely, the bedding was the best we’ve had at a rental! We came with just adults but would love come back with our kids. Thank you Lacey for hosting us, it was a much needed relaxing stay!

All the little extras!

This is the feedback when I asked my crew to review this property. We had to book last minute and we were not disappointed! Clean! Lots of natural light. Provided an assortment of toiletries. Beach towels were great. Liked the hangers and luggage racks for suitcases. Great layout and open feel. All TV's worked properly. Hot tub was clean. Loved having hot water with the outside shower. It’s the perfect location between downtown Savannah and Tybee.

Perfect combination of location and accommodations

What a wonderful home! Extremely clean and well maintained, the picture really doesn’t do this property justice. The owner of the property is so nice and helpful and was extremely responsive to any questions we had. My wife and I stayed for a week. The location is awesome… away from the hustle and bustle but within a stones throw away from the prime attractions of downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. Besides the house having literally everything you need and beautifully decorated, our favorite area was the backyard where we enjoyed the hot tub in a little outdoor oasis where you can take in the Spanish moss covered trees and the swaying palms. The neighborhood is quiet and seems very safe. I can’t recommend this property enough, in fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we plan on coming back with our kids next year.
