“The breakfast buffet was very good with great variety. I also liked pots of hot coffee in the lobby available all day. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. Perhaps it was because my room could be an adjoining room, but we could hear everything next door. Our neighbor called to complain about our tv volume, so I guess they could hear everything also.”

“This nice motel by a lovely creek has great beds (not too hard, not too soft) and quality soaps and shampoos. Breakfast from 8 to 10am includes fresh strawberries and blueberries, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and toast. “We have stayed at least four times at Berkshire Mountain Lodge, and enjoyed it every time. This last time we were a little disappointed as our room furniture condition was not great. The sofa had some rips and didn’t look in very great shape and the chair also had a couple of ribs in it. The standing lamp was wobbly, and the table next to the sofa was also wobbly. The property is charming, with beautifully designed rooms and a cozy, inviting lobby. The rooms are stocked with Santal products, which is a nice touch. “The hotel is under construction. This was not mentioned when reservations made. The only available parking was down the street at the bank. The television channels did not come in had to call for assistance. Then tv continued to have issues. On the ceiling and the wall there was dark colored “something” mold? dust? GROSS! Not worth the price.”
