“First time I’ve stayed at The Weston and hopefully it won’t be the last. A really charming hotel, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and the take time to chat which was really nice. My room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was top quality, tasty and very well presented. The bar prices were reasonable and there’s a cosy area to sit and chat with books and some games. Very convenient location for the spa and an easy walk into the town. Onstreet...

“- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”

“I know it was late season but reception and bar not manned. Heating on full blast, was too much. Good breakfast, worth the extra, nice to see dogs allowed, even though I did not take my own, Scarborough is a very dog friendly place.”

“The reception employees were not service minded during check in and out. I arrived at 11 am and asked about the possibility of early check in (anytime before 15:00 even paid for). The receptionist asked for my name and once I gave it, the reply was No, it's fully booked even though: - he didn't even check. - a couple that he helped before me got to check in. - when I came back in the evening and asked for a floor fan, the evening receptionist said he'd look for any available in the "unoccupied...

“Good location”

“The flat was in general very clean . However the sofa and cushions were a bit smelly , they could have done with a deep clean. There was everything we needed and it was central to everything. The host was lovely and very helpful.”

“A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...
